Interesting that one person feels this is good for sensitive skin. It is rich and dreamy & I loved it. After 1 application, I was fine. After 5 days, my eyes were itching like crazy. Sadly, I had to take it back. Still looking for an eye cream that works & doesn't itch!

This brush makes a beautiful line. I usually use it under my eye and sweep up rather than drawing a cat eye from my upper lid. But I still need smaller, thinner brushes for gel liner & a more compact look. This brush creates a more smudgy look. The bad part is that I let it soak too long one time when I was cleaning it. The casing cracked & the tip fell off. I need to crazy glue it. I expect that cheaper brushes do just as good a job. Garden Botanika is great & much cheaper, but their selection is much less than when I bought a lot of my brushes there. I guess I was just feeling like treating myself when I bought these brushes. (Although the Chantecaille sales staff in Nieman Marcus are really GOOD. That might have had something to do with it - lol!)

There is a TON of pigment in these shadows, so you don't need much. I love that you can use them wet or dry. And shopping at Neiman Marcus makes me feel like Breakfast at Tiffany's - "nothing bad could ever happen to you" there. The shadows are expensive, but I will use the Lapis forever. And if I find the perfect shade, I feel it's worth it.

Well... it seems I might be the only person not wowed by this product. I have it in Super Sage and French Vanilla. I love the Sage color, but the French Vanilla doesn't show up enough. Not pigmented enough. I grab my highlighter from my Lancome 5-in-1 palette, Jade Fever instead.

I agree with many reviews that say this lipstick dries your lips. But somehow I missed the directions that said to let it dry for 2 minutes before putting on the gloss coat. That could make a big difference & I may have to update this review. I also agree that when it comes off, it comes off less at the edges of your lips & more in the center. However, the reason I like this lipstick is because there is NO CHANCE it will melt if I accidentally leave it in a hot car. I wish I were less forgetful, but ... I've lost expensive lipsticks & soured very nice mascaras by forgetting them in the car. So, though I still have some "regular" lipsticks, I really like these paint-on types.

For this brand, I have Brown Smolder and Gold Sizzler. It doesn't make my eyes itch, which is a top priority. The brown is fine, though it did crack in my makeup bag & is now a mess in the package. The gold, however; is invisible. It was a total waste of money. I bought a beautiful Stila shadow instead. Based on the reviews here, it sounds like I will get a great deal on dark shades, but not light ones.

I may have an older version of this product. But I bought it in 2 vary light colors to use as under-brow highlight shadows. No matter what method I use to put them on, they are invisible. These are the cheap pale colors that end up invisible that I talk about in other shadow reviews.

I do think that my eyes itch a bit by the end of the day w/this shadow. I have to do a day when I wear nothing but the shadow to be sure. (And since that looks weird, it has to be a day when I'm not doing much!) Otherwise, the forest green is beautiful. They ARE well-pigmented & so I can use it as dark green powder liner, which I love having. Of course, you can't beat the price. The real test though, will be to get a pale color. Cheap shadows don't show up at all if the color is light. So, I will update when I try a lighter shade.

I stopped wearing concealer for a while & this is the first one I bought since re-starting wearing it. I tried on Estee Lauder Double Wear twice in the last few weeks and I really can't see a huge difference. Except in the price. I haven't known what to do with the highlighter, but these reviews give some good suggestions. Anyway, I'm giving it an 8 in case I find some better concealers.

I love the deep color, but it is so drying. It creates a strange look that my lips are receding even though they are naturally full. Putting lip gloss on it makes it ULTRA shinny, which I don't like. It's also difficult to get definition with the thick pencil. I think it does stay well, but at the price of very dry lips.
