Clinique's new Almost Powder Makeup comes in the standard light green compact (remember the one you had in high school?). It goes on like a light foundation with good coverage and truly does dry like a powder. If you want an even sheerer look, they recommend using their new foundation brush. We keep this in our purse for quick touch ups or for a steamy night in the tropics when the glow is getting out of hand. It also has SPF 15, very important for the months ahead. We love this product!

L'Oreal Paris Sublime Bronze ProPerfect Airbrush Self-Tanning Mist
Great Color but Takes Some Practice
I've tried a number of self tanners this spring. The most important part of any product is the color it gives you in the end. The L'Oreal Sublime has a very realistic bronze (not copper) color. The challenge with any tanning product is learning to use it properly. With this spray it's super important to keep a consistent distance from your skin which isn't always easy to do, especially when you're reaching around your legs or your backside. I found that two light applications (one right after the other) was the best way to avoid streaks and splotches. Also, avoid using straight lines to apply it; instead I used a combination of swirls and lines. Also when you're finished applying, take a cotton ball and rub your elbows, ankles and achilles, these areas always grab too much product. Other good things about Sublime: there's a light scent (can't totally avoid the DHA smell), the mist is refreshing, and the price is affordable.

This lightweight moisturizer leaves your skin soft without being greasy. The "honey" (and peanut and orange extracts) give the lotion a wonderful scent. Lastly, the alpha hydroxy acids take care of my flaky patches. It must be a gentle formula because the rest of my face isn't irritated by the AHA. Could use SPF, otherwise a great moisturizer.

These lashes are SO easy to apply--great for beginners. The pack comes with a small tube of black glue, which is the secret to how real they look on. They go on at the corners for that sexy, cat eye look. We loved them so much, we wore them every time we went out for a month! Put them on after mascara and blend the line with black liner.

...and we mean that in a good way. This is simply the most refreshing, tastiest toothpaste we've ever tasted. And our dentist promises that using red toothpaste definitely won't stain our teeth. We haven't had a cavity in years. Buh-bye, morning breath!

This cream is similar in texture to La Mer. Its claims to heal stressed and damaged skin are similar too. I focused the sample I had on the skin under my cheek bones and down under and along my jaw bone. In the winter, this area is particularly dry. The Cloud Cream did a very decent job of smoothing and moisturizing. I think it would be too thick for summer time; but fine for winter. Caution: there's a big price tag.

This is not a perfume for the weak at heart; quite the opposite, it's bold and spicy, similar to our Narciso Rodriguez. We loved wearing it dancing with our girlfriends and also for a special night out with the significant other. It was perfect over the holidays and lasted all night. May not be the perfect scent for the office; but it turned heads when we wore it out. It's our new favorite.

I’m often confused by blush—too little and I look like a zombie, too much and I look like I have a 103 degree fever. I tend to flush a bit throughout the day, especially when I’m hot or have had a cocktail or two. What I love about this blush is that it goes on so sheer with just a hint of shine—it looks totally natural. Because it’s a cream blush, you can layer it to add as much or as little as you need. I also like that you apply it with your fingers and blend—no brush required. This makes it perfect for on the go touch ups. It has a faint scent, kinda like a crayon and is thicker than a gel blush, but stays on better. I use Brit Wit. I’m fair with rosy cheeks to start with. It gave me that coveted “Healthy Glow”.

I would bathe in this stuff if I could! It makes my skin look pulper, brighter and just plain healthier. I use it after washing my face before applying moisturizer. Plus--it heals scars and cuts. I have a poison ivy scar that's a few months old and I can see improvement everyday after I put it on. It's pricey, but totally worth the investment!
