The texture is a thin watery gel-like consistency that's easy to apply over oil-free moisturizers. Con: I had to wait a few minutes before applying my makeup. Pro: silicone-free if you have allergic reactions to silcones.

This has replaced my old-time favorite (Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine hairspray). I prefer the aerosol mist and it holds very well without being too stiff.

I was looking for something soothing and refreshing for my oily skin last summer and the sales rep recommended this to me. I hated it. The smell was overpowering and was too harsh on me. Try the Kiehl's tea tree toner...that one did the job for me!

This is a terrific shade to wear over the Nars Belle du Jour lipstick - looks like a milky carmel shade pale enough to pair up with dark smoky eyes. The lacquers are highly pigmented and great to wear alone as well. It is very sticky though, which is great for lasting wear - but not good for windy days when your hair easily flys in your face and gets stuck on your lips!

Philosophy Falling in Love Perfumed Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath
Beautiful fragrance but not potent enough
If you own the Falling in Love perfume then this is great to complement it. On it's own, this 3-in-1 does not linger on your skin longer than a couple hours after a bath/shower. It also doesn't make the whole bathroom smell like the fragrance unfortunately - which was my main objective in getting this. (Imagine doing your makeup in the mornings surrounded with this gorgeous scent!)

This is way too overpriced for what it does - moisturize! I have fairly good skin already so I am unsure if this does miracles for problem skin. For me all it does is seal in moisture very well. You need very little, but remember to work this between your fingertips before you apply - it is very thick. I would have rated this higher if it weren't for the extraordinary price.

I love Essie for the clean, polished, your-nails-but-better pastel shades. Mademoiselle (a soft sheer pink) and Waltz (gives the illusion of french manicured nails with two coats) are two of my faves.

this reminds me of those European chocolate bars flavored with orange. I wasn't too sure about smelling like that at first, but the smell is much more complex once you lather up. Not my favorite Lush shower gel, but if you love "foodie" scents, this is good.

I use this before going to bed so that I don't mind the greasies on my fingertips. I like the scent of this paired with a lavender hand cream...then it's easy to go straight to sleep! In the mornings I wake up to soft hands.

Powerful jasmine scent - which I love! This is not for the faint of heart - the scent is long lasting - however it smells MUCH lighter in the shower than whiffing it straight from the bottle. My whole bathroom smells decadent after using this. Does a great job cleaning my skin yet doesn't dry it out. This will be a mainstay in my shower!
