This lotion is nice and thick, providing tons of great moisture without being greasy. It has a light fresh scent and is really helping out with my dry skin. It’s hypoallergenic and mineral oil and petrolatum free, so I know that it won’t be irritating any itchy spots I get. It also claims to help increase skin elasticity, so I’ve been religiously applying it to expanding areas, hoping it’ll help prevent more stretch marks. Another great bonus for this product is that they’ve made it so safe and gentle, that it can be used on your baby. So no need to worry about having leftovers after your pregnancy. Not that that should be a concern, since as far as pregnancy specific creams go, this is certainly one of the most affordable (and readily accessible) ones on the market.

Among my favorite uses: - On the bedside table, to remove makeup when you are too tired to wash - Camping! No need to be dirty in the woods - At the gym, these work great on your whole body if you don’t have time to shower - Airplanes - especially on long or overnight flights. You can refresh without having to resort to the little lavatory sink - A few in a ziplock baggie in your purse just in case. Good if you have an impromptu sleepover at someone else’s place - At the beach or poolside. Keep them in a cooler if you have one. A great way to refresh! Biore’s Daily Cleansing Cloths are great for all these things. These pre-moistened cloths cleanse gently enough to use elsewhere on your body (like after the gym when you don’t have time for a shower), but strong enough to take off your mascara as you roll into bed exhausted. You don’t need a sink, making them perfect for traveling or camping. And the moisturizers in them make them a better alternative to using an alcohol soaked wet wipe to clean up with.

The Cleanse, Close and Condition systems come in 3 varieties for Fine, Dry or All hair types. I tried the formula for Fine hair. I like the rectangular bottles - not necessary to how the product works, but they fit nicely on my shower shelf. The shampoo and conditioner have a light floral scent and contain lots of botanical ingredients. All of the conditioners contain an SPF to help protect your color. The shampoo got my hair clean and the conditioner was light and left my hair smooth. The Close step was weird, but worked well. I say weird, because it looks like hair gel, but isn’t slick or sticky. It didn’t slide through my hair like I expected, so I had to be carefully to run my hair down my hair before massaging in as directed. It rinses out clean and my hair felt the same as after shampooing. The system really showed it stuff, though, after styling. My hair definitely lay smoother after blow-drying. And was less frizzy after letting it air dry (without any product that is - I definitely need product but wanted to see how the 3 step system performed on its own). I definitely noticed a reduction in split ends and an increase in work productivity - no more mindless split end picking. I also noticed that use of this product really helped keep the split ends at bay after a trim. Since my hair is thick and tends to be frizzy, I didn’t notice the benefit of body that the fine shampoo imparts. But that is good to know for people with fine hair that tends to be limp. This product is a great way to get the benefit of a formula to repair your hair, without the weight of heavy conditioners.

These handy little tins contain two shades for shading, shaping and hiding bare spots. I do recommend a light touch, though. The first time I used the lightest shade, my brows ended up so dark that my husband juts started laughing at me. I also recommend testing at a makeup counter first, if you can, to make sure you get the right shade.

I love cosmetics companies that let you create your own shadow palettes! Still has an amazing range of colors you can use to create your own compact. Two of the matte shades, chinois (an off-white) and bouquet (a very pale pink) work well as a nude shadow to hide any lid discoloration or as a base to wear brighter colors over.

This product was easy and quick to use - you only have to leave it on for 10 minutes before washing it out. It did have a pretty strong floral odor, which seemed to be covering up a slight chemical smell. It comes with a tube of conditioner to be used after you rinse the developed product out and then again once a week to help keep up the shine. I have to say I was a little disappointed in this product. Maybe my hair was shiny enough to begin with, but I didn’t really see a difference after I used the product. I think the conditioner probably did the most, because my hair felt softer after each weeks usage. So using a deep conditioner would probably have the same effect. If this is supposed to work just as well as a salon glossing, I’m glad I didn’t spend the money at a salon for unremarkable results. I think that using a shine serum in either drops or a spray gives a better shine and gloss to my hair.

I love these lipsticks! They are incredibly soft and sheer. You can put on a light coat of a bright color for a subtle look or layer or layer on a few coats for more intense color. They have a nice light scent and last a long time. They are great on my dry lips in the winter and don't fade weird (I hate when you're left with just a ring around your lips). And they have a ton of great shades.

Color Pulse is easy to apply. It is a pre-mixed foam that is applied to clean, wet hair and then rinsed out. It has a light, fruity scent and leaves hair soft. Using the Cool Blonde shade on my medium blonde hair, gave it a slighly sunnier quality. I didn’t expect to get dramatic results, and non of my co-workers commented on the change, but one did say I looked more awake.

A great, gentle cleanser that worked hard on my acne.
Philosophy's Purity Made Simple, one-step facial cleanser is a dream come true. I recently received a sample size bottle of this cleanser and decided to take it on a trip. I have acne prone skin, but am starting to experience some dryness as well, so it's hard to find a cleaner that is tough enough on my acne, but doesn't overdry my face. My skin also has a tendency to freak out when I travel - dry airplane air, less than stellar diet when visiting family in the midwest, irregular sleep patterns and an exercise routine that is non-existant - all usually combine to create a nasty breakout a few days in to my tip. This cleanser, however, helped keep the breakouts at bay. It also removed all traces of my eye makeup and left my skin feeling soft. I even like the scent. Non-medicated, but not flowery either - it smells fresh and slightly lemony. I think I'll still need to use a stronger exfoliating cleanser a few days a week to help combat the acne, but this will definitely be replacing my daily face cleanser.
