Really easy to use eyeliner!
I used to find eyeliners difficult to apply, I never added it to my makeup routine. After using the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil, I line my eyes with this liner daily. I have it in bourbon. The liner is extremely easy to use. It's perfect for people with shaky hands like me! Awesome but not 24/7!
I bought this after I'd heard loads of good things about it, and most of it was true. It glides on like silk and I absolutely love putting this stuff on! BUT, the main problem with it is that it doesn't (for me anyways) have half the staying power I was lead to believe it has. It stays nice for a good while, but if it gets accidentally touched etc, it does come off/smudge a bit. And in the morning...read mores, if I've forgotten to take it off after a late night, it smudges waaaay more than any other eyeliner I've used - but I guess that's my fault for not taking it off! It also seems to get blunt quicker than some other eyeliners, and it doesn't sharpen as well as I thought it would. Only pencil eyeliner I use!
So I'm strange when it comes to eyeliner. I'm great at liquid and cream liners but pencils always give me trouble...they usually pull too much or i have to press down really hard to get color and I can't make a straight line at all. This pencil, on the other hand is perfect! I can make a straight line and it never pulls, tugs or difficult to get the color on. Best Liner Out There
So to start, I'm not really a big fan of pencil liners, I've always stuck to the things like Revlon Colorstay and the self sharpening things like that. I got very frustrated putting on liners. My eyes tear easily, so the pencil kind would just come right off or smudge off. But then I tried 24/7 liner, and it was amazing! It goes on so smooth! And if you mess up(like I did a lot when I first got th...read moreis product) all it takes is a like wipe of your finger and the mistake is gone! Even without smudging other makeup! The formula of the liner makes it so that it stays creamy for 30 seconds(enough time to make it perfect) As for colors, I prefer the Bourbon (brown/coffee shade) because of my light skin. Mostly Awesome
I just got started in makeup and I thought that eyeliners were supposed to pull on your skin and be difficult to apply. I bought a set of these and I was astounded. They glide on effortlessly and don't even begin to compare to the drugstore eyeliners or the Sephora brand ones. I love using them and they come in a variety of colors so you can always match your look. The one thing that I didn't like...read more about this pencil was lining my waterline. If you can get it on your waterline neatly than it will stay for a long time but it is quite difficult for me to get some of the eyeliners on there. The reason is that the eyeliner is very soft and crumbly so if your put too much pressure on it, it crumbles on your waterline and you get a bunch of fallout. Another thing is that you can't really get this to a fine tip. this is the smooothest pencil i have used in a long time
my freind gave me the color stash out of her set of minis (which are a much better deal you get 2 1/2 worth but with so many more colors and 1/2 free) anyway the color stash creates the most natural smokey eye on someone who is super pale but can also tan.This review is: Helpful | Not helpful | Inappropriate | 2 of 2 people said helpful
