  • Aveda Petal Essence Eye Definer

Versatile. Can be used as an eyeliner or brow pencil. High quality. Smudges well. Very good. I got this one in Black Orchid.

  • Clinique Long Last Glosswear

I got this product in the "Black Honey" colour. Hey, it's a nice gloss, does the job well. Rather average overall.

  • Estee Lauder Lash XL Maximum Length Mascara

This works. Period. I can't believe this got such a low rating!

  • Aveda Lip Shine
    9.0

    Aveda Lip Shine

    All natural goodness

I really like the "Beet Root" Lip Shine. It's got the perfect touch of colour to it that lightly stains the lips, and, best of all, the shine is minimalistic yet deeply hydrating. The only thing I don't like about these Lip Shines is the often hint of "spice" flavouring, it seems to irritated my throat at times.

  • Fekkai Multi Faceted Shine Set
    10.0

    Fekkai Multi Faceted Shine Set

    They work. Period.

A miracle product. Period. If your hair is dry, damaged, or just needs a little "weight" (without actually weighing it down), this is it. Wow, I have used these products for years now. Aveda's Light Elements works well too, but my favourite is Frederic Fekkai's glossing cream. By the way, I hear ladies have become enamoured of the man, not only because he's easy on the eyes, but because of his superior hair products that actually work. And, the best thing about the products? They aren't overpriced as most "luxury" brands are.

  • Philip B. Scent of Sante Fe Balancing Shampoo

Okay, I'll admit, $29.00 is a lot of money to spend on an all-purpose shampoo, but, if you're looking for something that's cruelty-free and has a lot of all-natural herbs and plant extracts like Juniper Berry, Sage, and Pinon, then look no further; however, I was disappointed that the product still contains fragrance (it only has 10% real extracts). For the price, I would have thought we would be getting mostly "the real thing." Despite the fragrance, this product is still nice, and as mentioned, it is all-purpose, which doesn't just relegate it as a shampoo. It's incredibly lush. By the way, I think some of these Philip B. products may be vegan, which is a great bonus. There is also a White Truffle conditioning creme for $75.00 which actually contains botanical extracts of white truffle. A bit decadent if you ask me. I may buy it one day. :)
