  • Clinique Mild Clarifying Lotion

I have very sensitive fair acne-prone skin. I have used this for about 2 years and the results have generally been good. I have started using the Acne Defense system from Clinique as well but I find that the clarifying lotion in that line is WAY too harsh to use twice a day, so I use this at least half the time and it works much better. Also, these bottles last forever. Best applied with cotton square, rather than ball.

  • John Frieda Sheer Blonde Dream Creme instant silkener

I have super-fine blonde hair in a short pixie cut and I used to use this as my only product. It had a wonderful, non-sticky texture and was much better and more effective than gel or mousse. I needed nothing else. Alas, my RiteAid stopped carrying it (bastards!) and now I have to go without. How fabulous it was! I called it my "dream snot"...

  • Aveeno Ultra Calming Foaming Cleanser

I have used this for awhile, and it really is super-gentle. The foaming formula is also very nice. I have also used the regular foaming cleanser (in the green bottle), which has a distinct fragrance and doesn't work as well for me. I have acne-prone skin, so I have switched to the Clinique acne system, because I have found Aveeno tends to maintain good skin rather than flight blemishes. Also, you'll have to remove your eye makeup separately first (of course). Great stuff.

  • Bath & Body Works Signature Collection Body Butter

I much prefer the scents and formula of the Body Shop versions, though those are even more ridiculously overpriced. Some of these scents, especially the floral ones, can be quite cloying. That said, they work fairly well and come in a nice variety of scents. They aren't super-moisturizing. They do make nice gifts, though. For practicality's sake, though, I've pretty much switched to cocoa butter.

  • Maybelline New York Shiny-licious Lip Gloss

I have this in the Cola Float and at least one other color and I am in love with it. They have a slight scent, the applicator works really well and the formula is delightfully smooth. They're not super long-wearing, but paired with a lip liner and they do fine. I actually prefer this stuff to my Clinique tube glosses, it's in my purse all the time.
