I have thick, straight hair that tends to get a little bit wild if I dry it without any product. I use this cream whether I am blow drying or air drying. I use a little bit less than the recommended amount and it doesn't weigh my hair down.

Good Hairspray for My Thick Hair

I don't use hairspray often but when I do this is the product I prefer. I hate aerosol-style sprays so the spritzing of this product is definitely better for me. It is great for mid-day flyaways; I often spray a little product on my hands and smooth over my hair to calm it down.

Sephora Professionnel Platinum All Over Shadow Brush #12

Love This Brush

This is the first and only eyeshadow brush I've purchased. I've used drugstore eyeshadows my whole life and never had an issue using the sponges that come with the shadow in combination with my fingers or q-tips to smudge and blend. However, after purchasing this brush to apply some Sephora brand eyeshadows I understand why people use these brushes. This brush makes it easier to blend colors and gives me greater control over the application of shadow.

Great Drugstore Find

I have purchased this product in several colors and love them all. While I'm not sure that this product lasts as long as it claims it is longer lasting than other glosses I've tried. I use the black gloss over other glosses and lipsticks to create deeper and richer shades. This is definitely a staple in my makeup case.

CoverGirl Professional Super Thick Lash Mascara

Not Overly Impressed

I've been having a difficult time finding a drugstore mascara that I love. The brush for this product is thick and bushy, which I usually prefer but this particular brush is awkward. The consistency of the mascara is thicker and does not look as good when applied as other CoverGirl mascaras.

Good with Blush

This product is light and easy to apply with any cheap drugstore blush brush. The color looks a little orange if I apply it too heavily. It looks better if I combine it with a light pink blush and don't use too heavy a hand applying it.

Benefit Dandelion

My Intro to Blush

For years I avoided using blush as my skin had a tendency to get red when I was embarrassed or flustered. In my mid-twenties my skin mellowed out and I thought it would be fun to try a light blush. My sister recommended Dandelion and I'm so glad I tried it. It feels light on my skin and the color is delicate and lovely.

Proactiv Repairing Treatment

Least Favorite Part of the Process

I enjoy the cleanser and toner steps of the 3-Step ProActiv system but the third is definitely my least favorite. I gave this 7 stars because overall the system has helped my skin. However, the repairing treatment makes my skin feel a little bit dry and tight and I'm not sure what all it does to help my skin. As long as I use moisturizer afterwards it isn't a problem.

Every other toner I have tried over the past ten years has either dried out my skin or had no effect whatsoever. I was quite nervous to use ProActiv because it included a toner step but this particular toner has worked well for my skin.

ProActiv Works For Me

I have battled my skin issues since my late teens and this is the only product that has helped calm my skin down. I had to commit to only using ProActiv skin care products because I heard that other products mess with them. It has paid off because my skin has never looked better.
