Revlon's lipgloss offers a lot of pretty shades that balances the gloss nicely, one doesn't overpower the other. Plus, it doesn't act as a magnet for errant hair strands that invariably stray across your face when the wind blows.

This mascara doesn't smudge all day (towards the end of a long night it can flake off a bit but that's after a lot of eyelash batting). It makes your lashes look pretty and longer which is what mascara should do.

My lashes look defined and longer with this mascara. The only thing keeping me from bestowing a perfect score on this is that it sometimes smudges but if you powder the skin above and below your eyes it wipes off easily.

I wanted a product for my lashes that I could use on days that I wanted to give my lashes a break from regular mascara. I also wanted something that would hold a curl and look natural. This product didn't do either. I curled my lashes and applied the mascara- my lashes immediately went straight. Then, later in the day, I noticed that my lashes had flakes on them. Stick-striaght lashes with flakes is not a good look. I didn't use this on my eyebrows but I imagine that it would flake there, as well. However, at least my brow hair is supposed to be straight.

I don't understand why this mascara gets such glowing reviews. Whenever I used it in the past it would run if my lashes got a little bit wet and I'd feel like I was in some old-timey movie in which the heroine is always crying with two black rivelets of makeup running down her face. It didn't even hold a curl. No good.

I like to try other mascaras based on their promises of longer, thicker, curlier, better, but I come back to this one before long because it stays on, doesn't smudge, and holds a good curl. It may not give you Jennifer Lopez lashes but even hers are fake.
