The color is pretty. But boy oh boy, there's no way I'm using this again. The lipstick went directly in the trash this evening. I was excited (a present from a co-worker) and when I went to try this out, I was disgusted. It's cakey and it has a very strong taste if you accidentally lick your lips. The taste is what I imagine kissing a blue-haired old woman, with caked on make-up would be. Not, not pleasant. No more Mary Kay for me.

Bumble and Bumble has done an amazing job with all their products -- and sumo wax is no exception. It's strong without being sticky or flaky like the gels of yesteryear. It helps you "piece" your hair and gives you a little of that "day after" look from when you washed your hair; right on the day you washed your hair! It's pricey, yes, but it's high quality and if you use a dime or nickel sized amount, it'll last about 6 months. Definitely worth it.

I know. I know. You can get tweezers at Walgreens or Rite-Aid or Osco or whatever the drugstore in your part of the country is for about $5. But those generally do not do a good job -- your skin gets pinched; they're snubnosed and don't easily grab the hairs you're aiming for; they end up rusting within a year. But these tweezers are perfect. They don't exactly make tweezing your eyebrows enjoyable. But they do help make it less painful than usual. And they do help you be more precise in your tweezing. Like anything, you do get what you pay for. And in this case, you'll get tweezers that will last a lifetime and help you be prettier everyday; just a hint of shape to your eyebrows can change your whole face. Enjoy!

So, oil on my skin and I won't break out? I didn't believe it. But I tried this for the first time last year and have never looked back. The Shu Uemura oil is absolutely amazing. It cleans your face so that there is not a trace of make-up. You feel fresh and beautiful, just from washing your face. It has a lovely, easy scent and isn't harsh at all. Pair this with the Peter Thomas Roth AHA/BHA skin cleanser just a few times a week and you'll have compliments on your skin in no time.

I love this deodorant and I only use it because it was part of a goody bag. While it doesn't leave any marks and works well all day, it's $18 a bottle!! No way am I going to buy deodorant for that price. Sorry Bliss. 1 star for price, 10 stars for effectiveness = 5 stars.

About five years ago, I switched to Tom's of Maine toothpaste and I'll never switch to anything different. It's amazing -- minty fresh (as paste should be), but without all the icky chemicals to give you cancer! Plus, unlike crest or other namebrand toothpastes, there's no chemically taste.

This is an amazing exfoliator. I've been using this product for over three years and constantly get comments about how lovely and smooth my skin is. Highly recommended -- it is pricey at $35 to $40 a bottle. But it lasts for months -- use product approx. the size of a nickel on your face 2-3/week (followed by a gentle cleanser) and you'll be pleased with the results. Not recommended for sensitive skin -- but good for oily to normal skin. Try it. I think you'll be pleased you did.

This mascara was a big disappointment. It began clumping within a month of purchase and my eyelashes looked light a $5 hooker. Not worth the drugstore price.

This gloss is gloppy and looks cheap. The smell is also funky. I dropped it in the trash soon after I received it as a gift. Don't waste your $.
