For those of you who aren't aware, Nivea markets this brand in Europe (excluding the UK) as Labello, and I first tried this about eight years ago. I don't know why it's now sold in the States under the Nivea name, maybe because it's a recognizable brand here, but all I know is that it is definitely not the same. This version is waxy and melts really easily. I love that it's in a convenient tube, rather than a pot like my beloved blistex DCT, but I really think the formula has changed from the original version.

This is my favorite brand of nail polish, ever. Not only does Essie have the cutest and most stylish array of colors, the polish itself is quite durable. $8US per polish is a very reasonable price for a bottle that will last a very long time.

I have been using this lip balm for over 10 years now, and no matter how many times I cave in and buy a trendy new lip product, I always regret it and go back to this one. It makes my lips instantly smoother and softer, and creates such a healthy sheen. I have been asked on several occasions what lip gloss I'm wearing after I've put on a fresh coat, and people are always shocked when I tell them it's Blistex DCT. I also love that it tingles a bit, because it temporarily creates a plumping effect. I will admit I don't like the fact it comes in a pot and I have to use my finger to get it out, but it truly is the best lip stuff out there. Plus, it's ridiculously inexpensive!

I have extremely dry, thick, curly hair, and this product is heaven-sent! Although I also need to use a de-frizzing product on top of this, B&B Leave In conditioner instantly makes my hair softer and more manageable. If I had to make a stranded-on-a-deserted-island type of list for beauty products I can't live without, this would be in my top five.

I really like Olay products in general, and the Regenerist eye serum is no exception. I truly noticed a lightening of my dark circles and my fine lines were visibly diminished. That being said, I think it is poorly designed, especially since the pump broke and about a third of the serum was left sitting at the bottom of the bottle. This would definitely get more stars if the container was a jar with a wider opening to get the last remnants of the product.

I adore CaudalÃe products, and this is no exception. This cream really makes my hands softer and my cuticles smoother, and the scent is unbeatable. That being said, I have to be honest and say I got this product as a gift, so when I found out it retails for $19USD, my stomach sank a little. Yes, a little goes a long way, but it's still pretty expensive for a hand cream, which is why I can't give it 10 stars.

I've read countless rave reviews in magazines about the All Soft line, and finally broke down and got a bottle of the conditioner. While I whole-heartedly agree with the claims that it truly leaves hair soft and touchable, I don't understand all the fuss about the scent; I can't stand it. I understand that some people prefer fruity, earthy, food and nature-based scents, like Herbal Essences or Aveda, while others like perfumed scents, like Pantene or Kerastase. I could really go either way, so it's not like I can't handle the scent because of a preference for a non-food based scent (the dominant smell here being avocado and olive oil). I just want my conditioner to leave my hair smelling delicious, so for me, this product doesn't work.

Once again, I seem to be in the minority when it comes to a popular, well-reviewed product. I have exceptionally oily, acne-prone skin, and am on the hunt for a great mask. Unfortunately, this is not it. Some people like the fact that it's blue, but I must admit that after I washed this mask off, I definitely saw tiny traces of blue still left on my skin, even after scrubbing it off. It also didn't really get deep down and clean out my congested pores like it claimed it would. I've definitely tried worse masks, but this isn't a product I would ever buy again.

I found this product while I was in France several years ago, and now it's available in select drugstores in the States. This body lotion is very decent, but a little on the expensive side for what it accomplishes. It has a distinct perfume-y scent, which some people may like, but I don't really care for. It definitely left my skin soft and hydrated, but at about $15USD, there are definitely better, cheaper alternatives out there.

It isn't anything amazing. It works well and it's cheap, but it doesn't make my skin ultra soft, and that's what I'm looking for in a moisture-based body wash. The smell is also good, but it doesn't really linger, which is also something I want from a body wash. So, the search continues...
