I had lost faith in drugstore brand mascara until I tried this. Zero clumping, flaking, smudging. It improves thickness while maintaining softness and flexibility. The brush is a good size and shape, with nice bristles. Not so small that I feel like I'm just painting the bottom of my lashes, but not so big that I can't maneuver it around. It doesn't sting my sensitive eyes and it's perfect for a non-fussy look.

This is the first liquid liner I ever tried and it ended up being the best I've ever had. This stuff is easy to apply because of the shape of the handle and the tapered sponge tip. The sponge tip makes a very smooth line that would be much harder to achieve with the usual brush tip. You can make a fine or thick line easily depending on the pressure you apply. It stays until you decide to wash it off without smudging or flaking and comes off nicely with makeup remover. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find this anywhere. Ulta, Target, CVS, Walgreens... no luck. Maybelline still has it on their website though, so it must not be discontinued. For now I'm stuck with Ultra Liner, which is basically the same thing with a downgraded applicator :(

I have tried lip stains at makeup stores but never bought one because I hated the way they smelled and how they settled in lines, and I was never able to find any color that wasn't bright red. I read about this and picked it up at Target and I'm really glad I did! This is really easy to apply; no mess and no brushes. It's just like using a marker. The finish is silky smooth and it doesn't come off when you apply balm or gloss over it. Purity is the perfect color for a natural look. It's like a color and clarity enhancing veil that turns them the beautiful rosy color of chapped lips. I swiped each of the colors on my hand at the store and Happiness (Fuchsia) and Love (red-orange) stayed on my skin for two days of washing, so try those for some long-lasting color. This has become a staple of my beauty routine which I will definitely repurchase.

I bought the mini sized tube from Ulta about a week ago because I wanted to see whether this mascara could live up to the hype. When I wore it the next day and my friend exclaimed that my lashes were huge, I knew it did. She said they were so long she thought I must have put fake lashes on. I converted my friend and my mom to this after only two days of wearing it. When I first put this on, I was terrified it would be very harsh and burn my eyes the way a lot of mascaras do. No problems with this one! It goes on super smooth and doesn't glob all over my skin when I'm maneuvering the big fat brush around the corners. It stays perfect for the whole day with no undereye smudges or flaking and my lashes are still nice and flexible. I crashed on the couch today after school, probably smooshing my face everywhere but when I woke up, everything was neat and intact. But this is also Lash Injection's downfall: it is a pain to get off! I did the warm washcloth thing and it didn't really do anything. I have found it works best to put makeup remover on my fingers and rub my lashes between them for a while and the mascara comes off in little pieces. Takes a while, but I think it's worth it.
