MAC 187 Duo Fibre Brush

LOVE THIS BRUSH FOR IT'S FLAWLESS FOUNDATION APPLICATION

I really like the quality of this brush. People who raved about this brush were not kidding. I think that this is a great brush to apply liquid foundation because the brush is soft and dense so it allows for a smoother application. The finished foundation look with the assistance of this brush is smooth and flawless. So far, all it's imitator brushes (think similar brush from Sephora, Ulta, Coastal Scents and countless other brand) have not created quality brush equal to this one. However, the Sonia Kashuk highlighter would be a great option for those indviduals who don't feel like dishing out $42 for this brush. All in all, I love this brush.

Sephora Professionnel Platinum Stippling Brush #44

GOOD BRUSH BUT TOO PRICEY FOR IT'S LACK OF QUALITY IN THE BRISTLES

This is a good brush but not comparable to the MAC 187. The bristles of this brush is firm and not soft, however, it will apply liquid foundation fine. This brush is quite expensive and I just don't think that it is worth $38. Add about $4 more and get the MAC 187 for $42 or forget this brush and the MAC 187 brush and buy the Sonia Kashuk highlighter brush for about $12.99 from Target. The Sonia Kashuk brush is soft and work more light the MAC 187. Note: Ulta also has a similar brush but forget about that one because it is not dense enough.

Ulta Professional Highlighter Brush

Good brush but not the same as MAC 187

This is a good alternative stippling brush to the MAC 187, however, it is not in the same league as the MAC 187. This brush is soft but not dense enough and that causes the brush to flop when you stipple the brush it against the face.

Illuminare Ultimate All Day Blush

Great Blush But A Little Hard To Blend!!

This is a great blush but a little hard to blend onto the cheeks so I like to mix this blush with a little moisturizer for easier application and blending. The color is quite concentrated so a little drop of this blush is enough to do both face cheeks. This blush wears well and lasts throughout the day with no retouch. The finished of this blush is matte like its sister foundation Ultimate All day Foundation/Concealer.

Shu Uemura Natural 18 Goat Brush

GREAT QUALITY BRUSH

I love this brush! I initially thought that the handle was slightly small but it turns out to be perfect because I do my makeup holding a mirror in front of me, thus, the small handle does not hit against the mirror. I find that this brush is great for liquid foundation application but not so much so for cream foundation application because the finished look tends to look heavy. The bristles of this brush is made of white goat hair and it is the softest hair that I have even touch on a brush. The short bristles are compacted placed together and so it makes foundation application easy and the finished look is very smooth. The quality of this brush is supreb and so that may be why this brush is quite expensive ($39). (Note: This brush looks different than that of the pictured displayed here on this website. Philosophy The Supernatural Multi-Use Natural Hair Brush

GREAT LIQUID AND CREAM FOUNDATION BRUSH

I absolutely love this brush. The diameter of the bristles is approximately the size of a quarter, slightly on the small side, but the brush is still very good to work with. I especially like to use the brush with my creamy liquid foundation. The brush does of a good job depositing the foundation on to my skin in a smooth manner. This brush can also be use for cream brush application and mineral makeup as well. As far as the quality of the brush, I would say that is well made and it looks sturdy like it would last for for a long time. The price of the brush is currently $25 so it is priced more as compare to drugs store brand but cheaper than brushes from MAC. The quality of the brush and versitility makes it worth buying.

Illuminare Ultimate All Day Foundation and Concealer

BEST FOUNDATION FOR EXTREMELY SKIN

I love this foundation. It is by far the best foundation that I have tried for my extremely skin. This foundation is easy to apply and blend. The coverage is a workable medium to full coverage with a matte finish that does not feel heavy. It covers blemishes and acne marks/scars really well for those of us who do not have beautiful skin. In addition, it wears well throughout the day and does not melt like some other matte foundation. This is a great foundation.
