Used to be good, new formula disappointing

I read good review upon good review, but unfortunately when I tried the new formula I had a terrible experience. The colour was fine, but as I was rinsing my hair out in the shower I noticed more shedding than normal. Not breaking off at the ends, which would just indicate my hair was damaged, but coming out at the root. I didn't go bald or anything, simply experienced more than normal shedding of my hair for the next few days. I would be extremely hesitant before trying this product again.

Clairol Natural Instincts Semi-Permanent Hair Color

Not a terrible colour, but...

I didn't mind the colour (it ended up darker than expected because my hair was porous, but it faded well); however, it really did not make my hair healthier. It didn't fall out in chunks like I've read in other reviews, but my hair definitely shed more and felt stripped. I won't be using this again.
