  • Korres Natural Products Wild Rose Mask

My favorite mask, by miles. I'm also fond of the wild rose serum... but I find the rose moistuizer inferior to Dr. Hauschka's. This mask is wonderfully brightening. If find it is deeply moisturizing without leaving skin tacky & changes the texture of my skin very noticeably. Really makes your skin like a fresh rose petal. Great scent & a good & visible consistency. It's almost sad that skin can't absorb all of the product because I can tell my skin drinks this in! It generally also causes my skin to expel any "yuckies" & send them on their way. For me this is a healing cream & a treat I very much look forward to.

  • Korres Natural Products Eyebright Firming Eye Cream

Nice firming eye cream with anti-aging properties. Thick but not pasty, fast-absorbing leaves skin firm but supple. Tube lasts for a long time even when applied liberally. Not a magic bullet but a faithful everday eye cream that is a skincare workhorse.

  • Korres Natural Products Evening Primrose Eye Cream

Average, inferior to Korres Eyebright firming eye cream, in my book. Moisturizing- you're better off with it than without it, but just "blah." Tube lasts nearly eternally even when applied liberally.

  • Juice Beauty Green Apple Age Defy Moisturizer

Excellent moisturizer that earns bonus points for superb exfoliation properties thanks to the natural fruit acids contained in the organic complex. With the very first use, a few hours later it seemed to slough off unresponsive surface skin layers. So if you've fallen a little behind in your exfoliation routine, or need to start one, I'd use this - but be prepared to wash your face about halfway through the day & re-apply any make-up, etc. (just for the first few days, you'll see a difference quickly- product will absorb immediately into healthier skin). As for moisturizing, I use it as a back up. The scent may take a little getting used to and it is more of a lotion than a creme.

  • c. Booth Walnut Shell Body Scrub & Cleanser

My favorite, indispensable body scrub that leave you smelling "like a cookie" said my bf, before crushing his face into my chest & just kind of lying there looking blissed out. Ha ha, true story. I adore this - perfect light grit, wonderful nutty smell & my skin absorbs just the right softening from it. An uplifting daily treat to look forward to at an affordable price. Use it & your skin will feel well fed.

  • Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream
    10.0

    Dr. Hauschka Rose Day Cream

    Run, don't walk

This rose day cream is so far beyond holy grail, I can't tell you. Mix it up with a little a tad of Philosophy's miraculous Vitamin C powder, and in two weeks your skin will look like you were whisked away to a spa wonderland where talented skin care professionals lovingly administered bazillion dollar treatments on you, then snuck you back to your regular life. I mean THAT kind of glow! May be a touch to heavy for some, so try the lighter version if you think this is you. Truly like a garden of eden for the skin. It really feels like you are rubbing intense rose petals into your skin, and slowly, your skin becomes dewy morning fresh petal soft. In my opinon, the very best- matched only by Arcona, which has a different spirit.

  • Philosophy The Microdelivery In-Home Vitamin C Peptide Peel

I love the scent of Philosophy's microdelivery peel- I don't just love it, I'm smitten with it. It's sumptous and soft, a bit orangey, but in a good way. It infuses your skin with a mega-dose of Vitamin C to reveal dramatically improved instant baby soft skin (no exaggeration). As an intermittant Philosophy girl, I give this a big thumbs up. But, as (sadly) with the vast majority of Philosophy's products (Hope in a Jar, the original Philosophy MUST HAVE item) the treatment, for the high price tag, this product simply doesn't multitask enough. As well, the softness it creates is very feel good, but exceptionally fleeting. I generally buy this in the foil packets & regard it as a rare treat & splurge, not a must have. Something to consider cracking out if you needa boost or have a big event. Beyond an eye treatment, I think there's just a limit to how "specialized" and "targeted" a treatment should be (like kitchen utensils!!!).
