I first got it as a sample last year at Sephora- otherwise probably would never have tried something so expensive, or have gotten hooked. -_-;;; This is seriously the most luxurious body butter I've ever used, and it is a real treat to myself getting to rub it in my feet before bed or to fix dry hands after a long day. It is a 'special occasion' moisturizer, which can justify the outrageous price. I love that it's unscented, so I can add my own fragrance, or just relax without one. I feel like I've gone to the spa once I've used it.

I think I've got three of these big bottles around the house; it gets used for everything. Hands after dishes, feet and legs after showers, and is even gentle enough to put on my face at night. It rubs in so well and isn't greasy at all. The light scent is great too. At the price, I don't feel guilty lathering on as much as I want!

I have combination skin, and this works like a dream for me. The lightweight texture is wonderful, is absorbed quickly and works on my whole face. It keeps my t-zone from becoming oily, and is moisturizing enough that my forehead and cheeks don't get that 'tight' feeling from being dried out. It's gentle and refreshing, and really saved me when I switched from another brand that wasn't cutting it. I had super-dry patchy cheeks and had broken out in my t-zone when I came back from a trip, and this stuff helped clear everything up, and has kept my skin clear since.

this works superfast! It feels stronger than the MAC brush cleaner. Brushes get seriously clean in no time at all. You don't need water, just pat off and re-shape. I like that it's clear, so I know when my brush is clean. It gets some stars knocked off because of the chemical smell (guess thats what makes it so strong). The alchol scent does burn off as the brushes dry, so when I next used them I couldn't smell it at all. Pretty darn good, but a little pricey.

Worst experience ever! OMG THE SMELL. It's not a "light vanilla fragrance" at all. It was nothing like vanilla, and made my bathroom smell like I had dumped a whole bottle of Grandma's perfume on the floor. It was that overpowering. My brushes (and whole bathroom) absolutely REEKED of it for weeks. I was disgusted whenever I used them until it wore off. I used this once and promptly returned it. If only the scent could have been gotten rid of as quickly. MAC brush cleaner is almost unscented, and cheaper. Shu Uemura brush cleanser is just as strong (if not moreso) than this and only has a light alcohol scent that burns off quickly. Do not contaminate your brushes with this!!!

I was surprised when an associate at Sephora recommended this when I was looking at concealers. I had never heard of the brand, and it was certaintly one of the least expensive in the store, but works so well! I started using it with a brush, but now just dab some on with my fingers. It is nice and opaque, so does a pretty fair job covering under-eye circles. It is creamy enough that it spreads well, and I can blend quickly. I haven't used all that many concealers, so can't compare it well, but for the results I expected, it has certaintly done its job.

I love the texture! I prefer it to other primers. I like that it goes on invisible, but creates a great canvas to work with. It makes liqid foundations and creme concealers go on much more smoothly- I feel like they glide better across the area I'm trying to cover.

I got this and Smashbox's liner brush to use with it, and am pretty disapointed in both. This liner doesn't last at all. I have the black, and it was hard to get a deep black to begin with. In a matter of a couple hours it didn't look like I was wearing liner at all. I've been using it more as a blender with eyeshadow, because it fails spectactularly as a liner. The brush also broke. I guess it wasn't glued well, and the metal cap separated from the handle. The firm bristles were nice, but again, I had to reglue it. Smashbox is turning out to be a mixed bag.

The lighter colors are ok, but the darker ones just don't last! They fade away by the end of the day. There are other, comprable priced eyeshadows with much more staying power. Even though there are some shades I love, and others I'd love to have, I have to pass on this from now on.

I was pleasantly surprised by this palette. I've had poor experiences with smashbox eyeshadows in the past, so I was delighted with these shades. The lighter ones are perfect for all-over, and I use them almost daily as highlighter. The cheek shades are light enough when mixed can be used for a light glow- sometimes I use it all over for a warmer finish.
