This review is for The Body Shop's Pomegranate & Raspberry home fragrance oil (I don't remember having seen just Pomegranate one when I purchased this). I use these scented oils all year round, and I change constantly but I usually pick fruity scents over herbal and floral based fragrance. A couple of drops of this oil produces the refreshing pomegranate and sweet berry aroma. It is either this or Cranberry Joy for me. Both scents are suitable for the holiday season. BTW, I miss the old packaging. The new one looks cheap, tacky and not all classy.

First of all I wish their soapy/perfumey scent were weaker. Secondly, there were not enough scrubbing beads inside for me to exfoliate my entire face. Lastly, I had to rinse several time to get rid of a slimy feeling, but on the other hand, it did not dry out my skin. However, this scrub did not treat or help prevent acne from happening. This is an average scrub, and I move on...

I have oily/combo skin with adult acne, and my mom has very dry skin. And both of us did not like this face cream. I got this cream because it says "suitable for all skin types" at Sephora about 3 years ago. I thought, wow, that would be great because my T-zone and cheeks are oily but around my mouth and chin often gets dry in winter. It felt heavy and greasy on my skin, and as many reviewers indicated, it smelled very unnatural. Philosophy is good at making lovely scented products, so why this one smells so weird? Fortunately, the yucky scent disappeared right after I applied. Other than the greasiness, I thought my skin was hydrated and felt smoother. Then, I realized that my acne got worse in a few days. It was quite expensive for face cream, so I gave it to my mom who usually uses very rich moisturizer such as L'Occitane Ultra Rich Face Cream. She never refuses a gift, but this one, she did!! After she opened the jar and tried it on her hands, she just said, no thanks, this stinks. lol. I did not know what to do with it, and I ended up using as a hand cream. A very expensive hand cream indeed. My hands were nicely moisturized and became soft while using it. I hate to disagree with people who love this, but I still don't get why some of my friends rave about this. Maybe I would find out when my skin gets drier.

I have been using a facial hair remover since late teen years, but I have not found one that gives absolutely no irritation/no burning sensation, causes no redness, or has no unpleasant scent. Therefore, I tend to come back to Nair's. Like the direction says, definitely do not rub it in. This cream does not smell really good, but not unbearable. I leave it on for about 10 min, and it removes my unwanted peach fuzz above my lips very good for a long period of time. I find that using face cream is much less painful than using wax. After removing facial hair with this, I suggest to use a good facial moisturizer or face cream to nourish the skin. I don't think that this cream is suitable for sensitive skin. This product is not perfect but it is a quicker, less expensive and less painful way to remove my facial hair than Sally Hansen Brush-On Hair Remover For Face.

I used to think that the best smelling Body Shop soap was Pink Grapefruit, but when I purchased this Satsuma orange soap, this became my favorite Body Shop soap. I usually don't like to use a bar of soap to wash my body because it is not moisturizing and does not lather as good as shower gel. But when I just need to cleanse my hands or when I become sweaty after workout, I sometimes use bars of soap. This Satsuma soap is very refreshing and cleanses really well. For the dry winter months, I still prefer Dove's bars though. My husband likes to use these Body Shop soaps all year round over Irish Spring, Dial or Lever 2000. I often find them a buy 3, get 1 free deal at their shops. These bars last a long time especially when I store them in a soap dish with drain. There is no doubt in my mind that the Body Shop makes the best clear glycerin soaps.

Clearly my views are in the minority here. I love the grapefruit scent, but this face wash/scrub smelled a bit too artificial and weird especially when I added water, not really like pink grapefruit. It cleansed my skin okay, and the micro-beads felt good, but it did not do anything to my acne or blackheads, and also did not help in preventing. I usually have positive experiences with Neutrogena products, but not this one.

I have tried a few different formulas of Sally Hansen's polish removers, and I have not noticed/felt any major significant difference on my nails. But this one, with the pink cap, may be a bit gentler than others because sometimes I have to rub my nails with a cotton ball a bit harder (dark color ones). It still removes nail polish off of my nails pretty good without drying out my nails, and this one is better than store brands' that I tried in the past. I don't think that this particular remover has strengthened my nails. I prefer convenience and mess-free polish remover pads, but Sally Hansen's line is much more affordable for daily use.

I don't use a candle or an oil warmer for our basement or a guest bathroom, but I use these instead! I always find different scents (or all of them) on sale. I have never paid the full price for these. My last refill pack with 2 bulbs was just $6! Yes, it is still more expensive than drugstore brands' but each bulb lasts much longer. I wish I could regulate the scent's strength because the fresh pack seems to produce much more scents for the first couple of days. Oh BTW, a good thing is that I can use Slatkin wallflower refills with White Barn base units, which I originally purchased more than 7 years ago.

I got a 0.14 fl oz bottle of Happy To Be as a gift with purchase item a while ago. I liked the scent first. It was refreshing and I remember it was a bit more fruity than the original Happy, but one day their citrus notes became a little acidic when I sweat. I prefer the original Happy, but I thought this one, which had more fun bottle design, would make a nice gift for my young cousin, but I found out that Happy To Be was discontinued when I went to a dept store to buy it last spring.

This Infallible Lip Colour Duo was on sale at Target, and I wanted to try this one ever since I saw their TV ad featuring Beyonce. They had a nice selection of shades. I like the convenient packaging, and since it is not a double ended stick, it is easier to find in my cluttered purse. lol. But I am not completely happy with the product itself. The combination of the liquid lipcolor part and the top coat resulted in dryness on my lips. Oh yes, the color did not come off when I drank, so I agree that this is longer lasting than a standard long-wearing lipstick. However, soon my lips became very crusty and flaky even with the topcoat. Maybe I was not doing it right, I followed the direction though....anyway. I removed some of these flakes with a tissue, and of course some color came off. Then, I had to re-apply them again. So in the end, it did not make good sense to me. Even though the color lasts long, I just did not like how my lips felt after using this duo.
