Better as Primer, not a stand alone B

This BB cream went on very velvety and dulled my pores in a similar fashion Benefits Porefessional would. Not as good, but it's the same, very basic idea. Minimalistic color with the pore diffusing technology used. It is NOT to intended to be used to even out skin tone, cover dark spots, blemishes, skin discoloration or red spots. It is just to soften fine lines and large-ish pores. I have really large pores and pitting and this helped a little bit. It slightly smoothed out the overall look of my skin and giving it a more diffused, soft look. As it says on the box, it gives the skin a BARE look... It doesn't offer ANY coverage. I'd be more disappointed if I had false expectations about this when I decided to try the travel size, but I read the description thoroughly and got what I expected.

Dr. Brandt Flexitone BB Cream

Good color match, light wearing

I finally broke down and bought this. I had kept my eye on this product for a while, skeptical of the color changing abilities. First, shake up the bottle and apply evenly. Initially, the lotion goes on grayish and ashy. I am a medium warm tone with yellow undertones (VERY yellow undertones). In about 3 minutes the color of the cream has matched my skin almost perfectly... it's a shade darker than my neck... but it still works well for it's function. I wanted something simple, light and all-in-one and this does the job. It does leave the skin dewy, so use a finishing powder if you don't like that look. It wears pretty well, not a lot of transferring and my skin isn't overly greasy after a few hours of wear.

Bare Escentuals Matte SPF 15 Foundation

Very dull

The matte formula leaves skin looking ashy and dull. Aged. It doesn't blend as well as the original formula and just leaves skin looking like it needs a good scrubbing. This formula also doesn't help skin stay matte, so there no oil control help. It also leaves skin feeling dry and heavy, unlike the original formula. Not sure how it won an award with only four and a half stars.

Nars Cream Blush

Beautiful dewy look

This blush gives a great, subtle shimmery look. I have it in org@sm and its really pretty and blends well. A little goes a long way. The shimmer helps warm up my complexion immediately. However, I have oily skin and I find that it doesn't wear very long for me and a few hours later it looks like I'm not wearing any blush.

Batiste Dry Shampoo

Super white residue

I have black Asian hair which is oily the 2nd day after washing. I have the crisp and clean blue can of spray and it just leaves my roots gray looking. It helps absorb the oil, but it's a super powerful spray and deposits way more product than necessary. It's ok, but I'll be trying a better brand next time.

Benefit Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow!

Good color match, but transfers easily

I have yellow undertones that are hard to match with most beauty brands, and Hello Flawless offers me the perfect match (medium, Asian). However, I find that this makeup transfers onto clothing very, very easily. Even after using a primer, setting with powder and spraying with Urban Decays makeup setter, I still see my makeup on the clothes of people I've hugged. Pretty embarrassing for guys who have girlfriends and for myself.

Benefit The Porefessional Face Primer

Using light tricks..

I have acne pits, pores and scars. This is the first product that tricked the eye with magic to make them much less noticeable. No more black pockmarks... shadows are eliminated and my skin looks smoother and "filled in". It has a very soft texture, so smooth's on well, but doesn't feel like it has staying power. Doesn't seem to stick under my Benefit liquid foundation.
