I don’t really know about these peel pads… I used them a few times but ultimately gave up because I found peel pads I liked better (CVS’s Skin + Pharmacy line). They smell like rubbing alcohol and left my skin feeling tight. Also, I didn’t see any noticeable difference in my skin. The ones I got also felt pretty dry.

This is a steam straightener, which is different from any other kind of flat iron I have ever used. You need to fill up the water container (use distilled water) and then it starts to steam. It comes with a little glove to use to prevent any steam burns. One note, you have to hold the straightener downward to activate the steam. It does a great job of straightening and keeping hair from getting frizzy. Bonus point for the beautiful packaging it comes in. Only 9 stars though because the CHI is still my all time favorite.

I feel bad not being able to give this product a higher score- I have not noticed any changes to my skin since I started using it, but it’s only been a couple of weeks and typically you need to use a lightening product for a bit longer before you start to see results. It is a really nice cream. It has the consistency of a lotion, it goes on nicely and absorbs quickly. It also has a much better scent that other lightening products I’ve tried.

If you’re looking for something to lighten your skin, stop wasting your money on cheaper products and just splurge on this one; It really does work. In less than 2 weeks I saw definitive results. It goes on smooth, feels nice on the skin and absorbs quickly. Minus one star because it has a super chemically smell, but it does dissipate quickly.

Whoa, I can’t believe I’ve never seen a product like this before! It’s got a “trigger delivery system” – perfect for helping to regulate how much you’re using (makes sure you don’t overdo it). It REALLY helped my flat hair by giving it instant volume and texture. I’m all about the messy look and this is a great product to use to get the bedhead look. Also works as a dry shampoo back-up plan by absorbing oil. Extra points for awesome packaging. LOVE IT.

There’s not a lot of downside to this hair straightener, but a whole lot of upside. For starters, it heats up to 450 (max) and FAST (within about 15-30 seconds). It typically took only one swipe to straighten each hair segment. Bonus points for having an automatic shut off, coming with a 4 year warranty and being very budget friendly.

I have fine, straight hair and primarily use mousse to give my hair lift and volume. This product made my hair sticky and didn’t really help the volume situation. Maybe this product would work better for someone with curly hair. Also, I didn’t love the feel of it, comes out feeling like shaving cream. Smells OK though.

I have very fine, and without product, very flat hair. I love using voIumizing mousses to just give my hair a little lift, and this product does just that. Also helps to keep hair from frizzing up. If you’re looking for something with a strong hold, this probably isn’t the mousse for you. Bonus points for being organic!

This delivers on exactly what you would expect from a hairspray - it’s easy to use, it holds, it smells good and it’s cheap. Leaves hair feeling soft and touchable. It is reasonably priced and easy to find. All around a win.

I don’t use leave in-conditioners or treatments often because I typically don’t have dry hair, but every now and then I do need a little hydration. I really liked this cream as a leave in conditioner alternative. It smells really good, it’s very moisturizing and doesn’t weigh hair down.
