This product is a box of mineral mud packs. You can use it on your body, even in your hair, but it's not intended to use on your face. You essentially place the packages (which are fairly generous proportions) under hot tap water for a minute or two to warm, and you layer it on. Then you let it set to get the full benefit of the Dead Sea minerals that makes AHAVA so revolutionary. What I liked most about it was that it was theraputic soothed my hamstring which has been a constant source of pain due to a sports injury. The relief was temporary, but I imagine that arthritis sufferers would love to have a reason to spa!

AHAVA has been a pleasant surprise. I love the premise of the products and the spa-like feel you get from their use at home. They are natural and refreshing, and this one is my favorite! I also reviewed the apple, which is invigorating, but I'm more oa musk person than a fruit person when it comes to body treatments. I'm into natural oils, scents, etc., and what girl doesn't love to spa?!

AHAVA has been a pleasant surprise. I love the premise of the products and the spa-like feel you get from their use at home. They are natural and refreshing, especially this green apple salt bath. I also like the other (cedarwood) bath. I'm into natural oils, scents, etc., and what girl doesn't love to spa?!

Like all AHAVA products, this one is not bad. The premise of all the products (for those of you who have yet to have an AHA(VA) moment is that they are made from Dead Sea muds. Rich and emoilent, this leaves skin glowing and feeling satisfied. Not my favorite AHAVA product but I would recommend it.

Mineral veil surprised me because it is wearable by all skin complexions. I didn't it expect to fit me (a bronze-brown black woman) and my mom (as light as Alicia Keys with green eyes) but it did. It set my makeup, perfectly. I'm not a big makeup person, though, so I could live without it. Overall, BareMinerals makeup give my skin a certain luminosity (even though I have naturally oily skin) that kind of seems to "glow." But sometimes it can be overbearing. I switched to Sheer Cover and have had better success with finding a color close to my skin tone and less shine. Still, mineral veil will always be a topper for me, even over Sheer Cover.

I have long, course, chemically-treated hair and I think that this is a great hair product. It actually offers something of substance in a consistency that my hair could appreciate. When I am pressed for time or low on resources, I can use Panteen's line for African American hair. But when I want to go all out, I reach for Ojon. I happen to also be one of the people who like the nutty, natural smell of the product. It's better than the "perfumy" smell of Panteen, in my opinion.

I used this peel about 3 x a week for about 3 months. It did make a difference in the appearance of my skin hours after using it but I didn't see any long-term benefit. It didn't decrease breakouts or greatly improve my skin tone or clarity. But I am giving it a 7 because it made my skin smoother and softer for a few hours after use so it was good on those nights when there was something speical planned, like a dinner or formal. In general, except for Hope in a Jar and Amazing Grace, I can take or leave Philosophy products. This one is no different.

I highly recommend Obagi products to anyone who needs to clear blemishes and discoloration. I discovered this product line about 5 years ago and it still works like a charm, regardless of how much damage I am trying to fix. The results are most dramatic when you use the entire system for about 6 weeks and then get a Obagi peel, a TCA peel, or (one of my favorites) something like the at-home phenol peels from Skin Culture Peels (4000 is my friend!). I recommend it. Your face will GLOW!

Overall, I would have to rate this product as pretty good. I used this product before I recommitted to Proactiv. I didn't use consistently and when I did use it, I used it in conjunction with regular facials and other PTR products that I bought from my esthetician. But overall, my skin was clear. I still prefer the smoothness of Proactiv products to PTR.
