Hot Tools Professional 1 inch 24K Gold Curling Iron / Wand

Not good!!

Perhaps I should purchase mine from a different store.....not sure that would make a difference. I always get mine at Sally Beauty Supply and I go through them like I change my underware!! It always stops working because something goes wrong with it where the cord goes into the actual handle. I don't wrap it or crimp the cord in any way. Just this morning as I was using it there was a big electric surge, a popping sound and done. The thing was dead. I have gone through probably at least six of them in the past two years!!! Not happy!!
