Love this!

I love the mattes and the tints but not the lusters because of the shimmer. Many people don't like the minty scent but I do because it feels so refreshing! I only buy these during Christmas because of the amazing sets and deals they have.

Rosebud Perfume Co. Smith's Rosebud Salve Tin

Ehh.

I bought this product because my friend recommended it. I’ve also heard so much about it from well-known youtubers that I decided that I had to try it. I’m kind of a lip balm junkie so I was so excite to try it when I first got it. To my disappoint it felt heavy and thick on my lips. It felt like a layer of wax sitting on the top of my lips. I asked my friend if she felt the same way but she said no. I looked at the ingredients on this and the first ingredients were petrolatum and lanolin. Lanolin is highly moisturizing so I’m assuming that there wasn’t enough in the product to hydrate my lips or the one I got was defective. This product wasn’t that expensive considering how much product you get but there are so many other lip balms at there that are better than this. I’ve had the product for around a year now and I still have half of the product left. Don’t know why it gets so much hype tbh. Now I use this at night because I can’t stand the heavy feeling of this during the day. In the morning my lips do get soft enough that I can easily scrub of some of the dead skin. Sometimes the heavy feeling is so annoying that I just wipe it off with my sleeve during the night. One of the other things that annoy me is the packing because something I have to pry the tin lid off with my nails. One good thing is that there is a distinct strawberry smell that isn’t too strong or too faint. I would not repurchase this or recommend to any of my friends. If you want to try something new then go for it because it might be just me who doesn’t like this. 

Maybelline New York Color Whisper

Love IT!

I actually like these more than the revlon lip butters because these feel so much lighter. The revlon lip butters feel heavy and some of them have shimmer which leaves huge chunks of shimmer when the actual lip color fades. I also like the colors more in the whisper collection. They are also cheaper. Highly recommend

E.L.F. Powder Brush

Amazing brush!

I bought this brush because of all the good reviews and ratings on the elf site. Needless to say this brush was indeed awesome. First thing you notice about elf products is the cheap price. Even though the stuff are cheap the stuff is still good quality. Sometimes they even have 50% off sales. This brush was very dense so i was able to buff on my foundation and create a flawless finish. I have multiples of this brush so after that i use it to apply powder to set my foundation. For the price it is very soft. I haven't tried any high end face brushes so i can't compare this brush to those. The brush itself does not look cheap at all. It also did not smell bad when i took it out of the plastic thing. When washing this brush, it didn't shed or lose color or anything. So far it is still very sturdy. No signs of extreme wear.
