Herbal Essences Color Me Happy Conditioner for Color-Treated Hair

Buy this if you want to cut all your hair off

I HAD waist-length brown hair that was bleached ashy-blonde balayage on the ends. (This was done professionally and my hair has been lightened for years) I picked this up at the drugstore after my salon-brand conditioner ran out because I saw that it had good reviews here. Probably one of the biggest hair mistakes of my life! After using this consistently (along with shampoo) for 2 weeks, my midshaft and ends were so dry that I could no amount of "It's A 10" could get a comb through them post-shower. Before this, my hair was combination, but definitely manageable. After this, it was a dried out dreadlock clump. I went back to my hairdresser and CUT OVER A FOOT OFF (just above my collarbone). He explained Herbal Essence dries hair from the inside out. Don't be cheap like me and buy the good stuff unless you are willing to risk your hair's health.
