  • Wet n Wild Bronzzer Compact

I use this bronzer in Bali Bronze. It's one of my favorite tools for looking like i've got an instant tan-- as well as contouring. I know a lot of professionals swear by this bronzer, and I'd recommend it to anyone experimenting with different tones... you'll probably end up keeping this stuff in your makeup bag for good!

  • L'Oreal Paris Lash Architect Mascara

    L'Oreal Paris Lash Architect Mascara

One of the worst mascaras I've tried

This is an award winning mascara.....it wins my award for my least favorite mascara ever. Why did I buy it to begin with? I thought the concept of a lash architect was kinda cool. So I try it out and put on one coat...it takes one kick ass mascara to satisfy me in one coat so I went on to two. This was where things started to fall apart. I was expecting this thick forest of lashes, but they wound up looking like trees at the end of fall...sparse, brittle, and with funky ends. For less than this price you could come up with some much higher quality mascaras. Something just went wrong in the making of this mascara. I can't really explain it, but next time you think the concept of a "lash architect" is cool like I did, think again.

  • L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Lipcolour

    L'Oreal Paris Glam Shine Lipcolour

L'Oreal Glam Shine Lip Gloss in Goddess

Has anyone ever noticed on the label of Glam Shine lip gloss that it says "dazzling plumping lipcolour"? Does this product really plump? I didn't notice any sort of tingle and I really didn't feel like my lips were getting any plumper. I get a little befuddled when products make claims and I just don't see where they're coming from. Anyway, on with the review. Goddess is an absolutely gorgeous shade. It's a peachy nude (maybe a little pinkish too) with extremely fine sparkles in it, and it's kind of creamy. It has decent shine and the sparkles add to it, and it goes on very easily. For the most part it's smooth with just a little stickiness. It has a bit of an odd scent...kinda like chemicals or something. I just can't put my finger on it. Seems to be somewhat moisturizing and the staying power is decent. I don't find myself reaching for this that often. I guess I use it to highlight the center of my bottom lip at times, but the scent turns me off and I sorta get the feeling that there is more sparkle/shimmer in this than shine. It's a fine line that this gloss is walking. I'm sure it is just what someone out there is looking for, but I'm not in love with it.

  • CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3-Kit Shadows

    CoverGirl Eye Enhancers 3-Kit Shadows

Eye Enhancers 3-kit in Golden Sunset

This is a wonderful basic eyeshadow kit to have. With this, you get three shades: 1.) Morning Cocoa (medium brown) This is a shimmery brown that is nice for subtle contouring. You aren't going to get a lot of drama when using this for contouring, but it makes a nice day look if you want to use brown tones. 2.) Golden Sunrise (coppery gold) Regardless of the rest of my makeup look, I use this shade daily from my brow bone to right underneath my eyebrow. I love putting color in that spot because a warm shade like this really makes your eyes/face glow. It pulls together any eye look and is just really radiant. Love this shade! 3.) First Light (light goldish yellow) This is the lightest shade of the bunch and is the one I use on my lid. It's great to put all the way on the inner part of your eye for a very wide awake look. It's a nice variation from whites and champagnes because it has a certain goldeny warmth to it. Looks great with the other two colors, but using it with a separate green shade for contouring also makes an interesting look. Overall, this is a nice set for anyone to have. They have decent staying power and blend easily. These colors will give you an awesome glow together or separately!

  • CoverGirl Fantastic Lash Mascara
    10.0

    CoverGirl Fantastic Lash Mascara

    My favorite everyday mascara

Fantastic Lash mascara really gets the job done if you want some major volume as well as length. I don't naturally have a massive amount of lashes, and after two coats of this, My eyes really pop. In my opinion it is rare to find a quality mascara that can separate as well as add amazing volume. Furthermore it is inexpensive and comes in a cute red tube!

  • Nick Chavez Perfect Plus Dry Volumizing Flocker

I love this stuff so much! I just discovered it earlier this year when my mom got me a Nick Chavez set from QVC. Here's how I use it: Set my hair in rollers (hot rollers or velcro rollers/curling iron). When I take them out, flip my head over, put some of this in the palm of my hand and rub into the roots, then scruch the ends. The result is tons of volume and you can make your curls as defined as you want them to be depending on how much product you use/scrunch into hair. It doesn't weigh down my super fine hair. love it!

  • Neutrogena Lip Nutrition Passion Fruit Boosting Balm

This claims to be a "boosting balm" but I would say that it functions as a gloss as well. Neutrogena makes a variety of lip balms in little pots and I chose this one because it gives you a hint of red color and shine rather than being totally transparent. It has a pleasant smell. I'm not really sure how much "boosting" is going on, but it does make lips feel soft and full after applying it. I love how it works great alone but can give a warm tint to any lipstick.

  • L'Oreal Paris Colour Juice Sheer Juicy Lip Gloss
    9.0

L'Oreal Paris Colour Juice Sheer Juicy Lip Gloss

L'Oreal Colour Juice in Iced Latte

It's kind of a shimmery copper/bronze color. Terrific if you want to go a step beyond a nude lip for a little added warmth. This is so shiny, and I love using it when I have a brownish gold look on they eyes and bronzer on my cheeks. As with all the Colour Juice glosses, the color is sheer and the consistency is a little sticky, but that helps with the staying power. I also like using this over any lipstick that I think needs to be toned down a bit. It's probably my favorite Colour Juice shade!
