CHI Original 1" Ceramic Hairstyling Iron

Not a fan...

Before I bought my CHI I had a GHD, which worked absolutely amazing until it began to burn my hair so I bought a CHI after reading excellent product reviews and hearing nothing but positive feedback. However, its been a few months since I have had it and my hair, once again is getting burnt, and I am really not impressed with the straightener in general. It gets the job done, but I usually have to go over each piece a few times. As for the burning, I don't get it. I have very thick hair, I use a good heat protectant on every section of my hair, yet I have HORRIBLE split ends. I would not recommend this straightener to anyone. One thing I found interesting was that I recently spoke to a worker at a beauty supply who told me that CHI was recently bought by a different company, and that the quality level has dramatically dropped, so perhaps that is why I am so displeased.

Bliss Get Out Of Hair

Great moisturizer, and at a great price!

I picked this up at T J Maxx for $2!!! I wasn't sure how much the retail price originally was, but after seeing another reviewer saying they bought it for $35, I guess I got a steal. I haven't been using it long enough to notice a difference in hair regrowth, but I have very coarse, dark, and fast growing hair so I doubt it will work. But as I said, for two dollars, its a great product just to use it as a moisturizer. It is very light, but very refreshing and moisturizing. It doesn't leave a lotiony residue at all, and I think it would be especially great during the Summer.
