BareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15
Typical Bad News for Truly Fair Skinned Girls
Even their lightest shade was too dark for my extremely fair skin, as is the case with most makeup lines. I was also disappointed that it did not provide enough coverage (or have a green-tinted concealing powder)to cover up the rosacea I have had since I was a teen. I highly recommend T. Leclerc instead if someone wants to use powder makeup, as they have very fair shades and provide "concealing" shades that address a variety of problems, including rosacea.

The La Mer Refining Facial is literally the only scrub I have ever found that is gentle enough for my dry and super-sensitive skin. I also have rosacea, and this scrub has not irritated it in the least! Although it is quite pricey at $75 per tube, it doesn't require a lot of product to get the job done. Furthermore, I think it has a very pleasant (but subtle) citrus scent. The only drawback is that it leaves a pale and sparkly residue if not rinsed off completely. This is not a problem for myself or my friends with fair skin, but my darker-skinned friends complain of an ashy appearance when the product is not totally removed. However, to me the risk of a residue is worth it, as the product does not damage my sensitive skin in the least!

I use the color-free version of this product, as I am fair-skinned and the color-free version looks natural on me. I love how this product mattifies any super-powered moisturizers I've used, as well as how easily it can be re-applied. My one complaint is that the brush is sort of rough and can be irritating to extremely sensitive skin. However, that was not enough of a problem (despite the fact that I have rosacea) to make me stop using the product.

I live in a humid climate and, as a result, have a slightly oily scalp. This shampoo has not only eliminated that problem, it has prevented over-drying as well. I've usually had to shampoo daily, but since I began using PHYTO's Phytopanama+Intelligent Shampoo, I can usually get away with every other day (unless I have a particularly vigorous workout). The only drawback to this shampoo is the smell--it's not anything like perfume. However, the smell dissipates as my hair dries. I highly recommend it to those with a slight to moderately oily scalp.
