Even though this is a tinted lip balm, I got this in the clear color since most of the colors I tested had shimmer in it and I didn't want shimmer. The formula on this is those soft formula which melts easily and I do not like that about it but this is super moisturizing and comfortable on the lips. It does smell sweet but has a hint of play-doh smell to it. I know it sounds gross but the scent is actually quite pleasant and there's no taste to this. It does not feel greasy but kind of has this cushiony feel to it. I love it. Just wish this wasn't as soft as it is.

I got these in small little deluxe samples and I'm pleasantly surprised by how pigmented they are and they're so easy to work with. Blends like a dream. I don't think these get enough love. They're super affordable and many times you can get these for buy 1, get 1 half off or 1 for free. These shadows are a softer formula so it will get some fallout but not crazy bad. Picks up just the right amount on my brush. Love, love, love!

The brand name of this is somewhat misleading: Dermelect. Derm means skin so I'm thinking why would they be making nail products and not skin products. I checked out the website and I guess they sell skin products like hand lotions and stuff as well. These were originally priced at $12.99 at Ulta. I found this on clearance for only $1.10. What a steal!!! This is originally more expensive than my beloved OPI so I thought to myself that it might be good.... And it's pretty good. I read up on the website that these are the first nail polish that is peptide-infused and I was wondering what that meant. Pretty much it has peptide in it to help strengthen weak and brittle nails and prevents chipping. I've only used it twice now so I can't say if it truly has made a difference on my nails but I do love how fast this truly dries without smudging and it stays chip-free pretty long too. I accidentally smudged this by accident and it was so hard for me to fix because this dries down to a plastic coating and not a hard coating like most nail polishes I have tried so if you try to manipulate the polish on your nail, everything moves with it if you know what I mean. It can apply streaky on the first coat and not as opaque but with the second coat, streakiness is gone and color is very opaque and glossy. J'adore this so far. Should've gotten the other 2 colors that were on clearance since I think they're discontinuing this in stores and Ulta website. I can't seem to find this brand anywhere anymore besides Dermelect website.

I was fortunate enough to get these at Ulta for buy one, get one free and they're like $8 each. Such a total steal! I stocked up on 4 of the creme colors and they are absolutely wonderful. My only gripe is that I wish I got more than 4;-) Oh, and also even though the brush picks up the right amount of polish, the bristles can sometimes shed. The first coat of this is not opaque enough and can be streaky but as soon as I put the second coat on, I CANNOT stop admiring my nails. They dry super fast as well. I have tried many pastel looking colors in the past but for some reason they look too kiddish on me like something a 2 year old would put on their nails and not very flattering but with these nail lacquers, they're muted colors but just the right amount of mutedness that it looks good on mature hands. I have found a new favorite in my heart. The other downfall is that these can tend to crack when it dries on the nail but with a good top coat, it will lessen that.

I knew I had to get this since so many people rave about this and mentioned they like it better than OPI. I got this in the color It's Genius and I found that the color was not opaque enough. It's very sheer. I had to apply a second coat. I'm the kind of gal that want my nail polish to be opaque on the first coat since I hate waiting for layers after layers of nail polish to dry. I still prefer my beloved OPI over this. I love the color selection on this. There's literally a color for everyone but I probably wouldn't buy again. It didn't dry as quickly as my OPI either. However, I love how evenly it applied with no streaks.

I was trying to find Elf's baked blush in Pinktastic after I saw a YouTuber using it and it was beautiful on her Asian skin tone. I don't think Elf makes it anymore because I searched high and low for that blush that can be used as a highlighter as well so I settled for this hoping it would work the same. I got the color Moonlight Pearls which looked absolutely stunning in the pan. I swatched it on my hand first and the texture is really dry and no pigmentation at all. It also doesn't want to stay on my hand. I had very little hope of this after my initial swatch. I used it on my cheeks and the highlight is too subtle for my taste. It's also more glittery than a finely milled shimmer. Did not stay on long either. Not worth $3 at all even though it was dirt cheap.

I've tried finding a dupe of this in the drugstore department but I gave up after finding nothing similar to this shimmery mauve color. I got this in the Real Cheeky set and it looks completely different than the individual standalone color. It's missing the multicolor effect. Hopefully the color is the same in both. In the pan, this looks like a dusty rose mauvey color but when I applied it to my cheeks, it comes off more pink than mauve. This is not as pigmented as the Tarte blushes which isn't necessarily a bad thing since it gives such a natural flush without looking clownish. It's really hard to overdo this blush. The color is buildable and lasts a decent amount of time but not as long-lasting as the Tarte blushes. I absolutely love how easy this blends. It doesn't look like I have blush on but just melts into my skin like a real flush to my cheeks. For some reason I also like the smell of this. It doesn't smell too perfumey but kind of has a sweet floral scent to it.

Everyone raves about this so I finally decided to try it in the Benefit Real Cheeky kit. I like how this bronzer is matte and multifunctional. It has a middle ground of having a cool and warm undertone so it's perfect to contour or bronze (although it falls closer to a gray undertone). This does not look orange at all. I don't like how it's not suited for all skin tones though. I feel like this would work better for Caucasian skin tones. I have Asian light to medium skin tone and it barely showed up on my skin. It also looked really muddy when I contour in the hollows of my cheeks. I like the silky texture of this and how it lasted a decent amount of time but just didn't like that you can hardly tell I have it on.

This caught my attention when I saw this on display at Ulta where the grab-n-go is by the registers. All the claims on the packaging sounded too good to be true and I guessed it worked because I found myself sucked in to buying it. It was Japan's #1 Secret on the packaging. Some claims it has is that it creates false-looking lashes that curls, volumizes, and lengthens without eyelash extensions. It's supposed to not smudge and create panda eyes but removes easily with warm water. What a gyp!!! First of all, the brush is terrible. I've never seen anything like it. It's a curved brush but it has a twisted shape to it so it's hard to work with. This literally did nothing for my stick straight lashes. It coated some dark color to it but did not create the illusion of false lashes at all. You cannot even tell that I have anything on. Not buildable either. After three coats, I gave up. I hated how this poked my eyes so bad after it dried. Definitely not good for sensitive eyes. And it DOES NOT remove easily with warm water. I still had to use an oil-based remover to get this off. For $22 I will splurge on something that actually works.

Received a sample packet of this and after 2 tries I gave up. I hated this so much I couldn't even continue to use the entire packet. I agree with all the other reviewers. It doesn't leave your face clean and somehow leaves a film on your face. No need in using water to rinse it off because it does little in removing that irritable "film." I had to use my other cleansers after this and what's the point of this when I still have to remove this with something else?! The seaweed in here is useless. It doesn't exfoliate gently like what they claim. It just feels like an extra ingredient that really doesn't do much. I used toner after this face wash and I still had a lot of makeup left on my cotton pad so I doubt that this cleans dirt and oil off the face like how it claims when it doesn't even do a good job of removing my non-waterproof makeup. I also hated how badly this stings my eyes. It has a really strong soapy fragrance that is much too strong. So far, I've tried Mario Badescu's products three times now and I am not impressed at all so I will probably never buy any of his products anymore unless I receive a free sample.
