  • Bath & Body Works Anti-Bacterial PocketBac Sanitizing Hand Gel

It's still drying, as all no-water anti-bacterial clean-hands things seem to be, but you can't beat these scents! They are all *very* highly scented. So much better than Purell and other brands, and also not as runny. These are worth the money! I've kept one at all times in my purse for a few years now, and have never had a problem with them getting smashed, leaking, or the lid coming off, as I have with other brands. Must-have!

  • Avon Speed Dry Nail Enamel

    Avon Speed Dry Nail Enamel

    Quick and Painless

After a few days, yes, it will chip. It's not the best formula for your nails. It's definitely not the thickest. But when you want some color and don't want to wait hours for nails to dry, this is your solution. I find that with Avon's Nailwear polishes, I get dents in the polish from doing this or that, even up to 5 hours after applying! Not so with Speed Dry. My favorite color is Sizzling Sky. Actually, I'm wearing it right now. It's a flattering blue color (the color I call "country blue"... It's the shade of blue that people use in country/primitive decorations. Kind of a dusty blue.) with tiny, tiny specks of sparkles that make the color change from blue to purple when reflecting certain light.

  • Avon My Lip Miracle Lipcolor

    Avon My Lip Miracle Lipcolor

I canna go outside today, cap'n, I haven't got my lipstick!

My Lip Miracle is one of my very few staple lipsticks. Usually I just throw on some gloss or balm. However, this is a great moisturizing formula as well. It has decent staying power, though expect to reapply if you eat and drink of course. Oddly, Avon thought making the lipstick rose-scented would be an added bonus. Unfortunately it just makes me feel older than I really am. Too bad this isn't vanilla scented like some of their other lip products! My must-have color is Perfect Pink. I've tried this not only on myself, but a few others with various skin tones, and it looks great on all of us. It really is the perfect pink! It's not bright or kiddie at all.

  • Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Conditioner
    3.0

    Pantene Pro-V Ice Shine Conditioner

This conditioner, she's cold as ice!

Not literally, but she wasn't nice to my hair, which is long, extremely thick, wavy, healthy on the inside and dry on the outside. I was so excited when Ice Shine shampoo and conditioner came out that I bought the behemoth sizes of both. Immediately, my hair was noticeably harder to comb out after showering. After a few weeks, it did look a *little* shinier, but felt like straw. Argh! However, I ended up giving the bottles to my boyfriend to polish off (he has very long, straight, somewhat thin metalhead hair), and the results on him were fabulous. He got compliments left and right on how healthy and shiny his hair was! *sigh. lucky* So I'm chalking it up to the fact that this conditioner, though Pantene, is actually too thin and light for my hair type, and would probably work great on those with hair that doesn't weigh as much as a bus.

  • Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm
    7.0

Pantene Pro-V Restore Beautiful Lengths Smoothing Balm

    Hardcore product for hardcore frizz!

When it's humid out and you know you're going to become a frizz monster, slick this puppy through your hair after your shower. I guarantee every spot of your hair that this is on will not frizz. Unfortunately, unless you have pretty thick hair, it might not do much else either. It's basically a crazily-thick conditioner cream in a pump jar. While it works great on my thick hair, those with fine hair might look like an oil slick. My wavy hair becomes almost stick straight when I use this. As I said, it's a hardcore product! My only beef is that because it's so dang thick, it's not feasible to use it at all unless your hair is wet from the shower. So for touchups, or thin hair, I would definitely recommend another product.

  • TIGI Catwalk Oatmeal & Honey Treatment Conditioner

My stylist recommended this conditioner (and its shampoo counterpart) for my thick, dry, dull, tending-to-frizz hair. Unfortunately, it is hands down the *worst* conditioner I've ever used. And I used the entire ginormous bottle thinking it would get better over time. No! After each shower, my hair was an unmanageable rats nest, easily taking 15 minutes just to comb it out. And it got so much dryer over time, with less shine as well. The only thing I liked about this product was the smell. It's very comforting, like a bowl of warm, nutty oatmeal with a little squeeze of honey on top. Overall, for the price, I was unbelievably disappointed in this product.

  • Avon Glimmersticks Eye Liner

This is my only must-have eyeliner, and so easy to use. I prefer the Saturn Grey color for everyday use (blue eyes), as it's not as dark as the black, but still accentuates my eyes well. When I'm in a hurry, I'll just apply this eyeliner and some lipgloss, nothing else. I have gotten so many compliments on how good my "eye makeup" looks, it's crazy. I never want to go without this eyeliner.

  • Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Moisturizing Shampoo

My hair lately has been somewhat dull, dry, and frizzy. After hearing that this was voted in Allure as the best shampoo, I gave it a try. It smells much better than other brands, and is pretty rich and creamy for a shampoo. I always get lots of lather, and my hair is starting to look better! Instead of being dull and tending to frizz, it now shines a little and dries in small ringlets.
