I should say that I don't have weak nails, so I'm not rating this based on it's "nail-hardening" abilities. All I know is, the polish took much longer than average to dry, and I still had to do daily tip touch-ups (even with my favorite topcoat). By the third or fourth day, the polish has to be removed and redone, as the entire perimeter is chipping away. These are the same results I'd get with cheaper polish. No, the cheap polish dries faster!

This is a great blush for the price. It lasts longer than many inexpensive blushes I've tried, and it goes on relatively even without too much effort. I'd say the only slight drawback is that a lot of the shades have sparkle in them, which might look silly on anyone over 25 (but I'm 27, and I still use it). To each her own!

This is an average lipstick that I'll only give a good rating to because it costs less than a dollar. It has a wide range of shades (Cafe is my favorite), and works well layered with other lipsticks. It's not at all moisturizing, though. It definitely needs to be topped with gloss to prevent major lipstick dry-out. I still think the price makes this appealing, and if I were still in high school, I'd probably own every shade.

It's a nice idea that they included an applicator wand because, as someone with nails, I generally hate lipgloss in pot form. The little brush is too tiny be user-friendly, though, and I lost it pretty early on. As for the performance of the gloss: It's just ok. I had the strawberry flavor. It tastes good, but that may have encouraged me to bite my lips more often than I normally would (I have a nervous habit of doing that). Anyway, I found that when the gloss wore off, my lips were much drier than usual.

Yes, this takes a long time to do. You have to be really careful in pulling strands of hair through the highlighting cap. And unless you're naturally blond, you have to leave the bleach on for an hour. That said, the results you get from this highlighting kit are excellent. Professional-looking, even! You need patience (and an ability to visualize the back of your head), but the results are worth more than the money you'll save at the salon. I recommend this.

This has been my favorite mascara for 10 years. I've tried many others, but I always find myself coming back to Full'N'Soft. The brush is superior when it comes to lash separation and volume-building, and the formula doesn't clump, flake, or smudge. It works better than many more expensive mascaras that I've been talked into trying. This one's the best.

I got this as part of a gift set, and it was completely useless to me. The brush does absolutely nothing to separate lashes (in fact, it practically forces them to clump), and the formula smudges off easily. If you're used to using waterproof mascara (as I am), you'll hate this. I can imagine that the people who rave about this are the same ones who keep Maybelline GreatLash at the tops of all those "Best Products of All Time" lists. Aside from the mineral part, the brush and length of wear are comparable.

I got a deal buying this together with the Surreal fragrance. To me, it had a weird undertone to the scent that just didn't smell good - sort of like REALLY cheap lotion. This smelled like something in a no-name, off-brand gift set one could pick up at the drugstore for $4.99 at Christmastime. I can't say anything about the lotion's lasting ability or moisturizing power, because I washed it off right away and never used it again.

That tingly/stinging/burning feeling that we're all used to getting from most lip plumpers is REALLY exaggerated in this lipstick, and it doesn't even visibly plump your lips! Seriously, I'd almost say that this stuff hurts. The color doesn't last at all, either, despite the the fact that the shade you get is quite a bit brighter/heavier than the shade you see in the tube. I did not like this one bit.

I like this blush alot. It provides a significant amount of pigment without using too much and lasts all day. Of course, the little brush it comes with is useless, but that's to be expected of any "brush included" blush. I think it's cute that they include a mirror, though I've never found it necessary to apply blush on the go. This is a good blush at a great price.
