I have tried a number of self tanners. And if I took more pictures, I'd have orange, streaky legs and palms to prove it! Faux Tan is different because you can SEE IT as you put it on. No big surprises later. I do recommend using a brush to apply it (circular motion) and going easy on your face. You can cut it with lotion-- and always add more later. Enjoy!

I thought this was another create-a-need product (like eyeshadow primers that we've lived without for centuries, thank you very much.) But a dab of this on the inside of the eye (near nose) really does help brighten a tired eye. I am impressed

I have tried a ridiculous number of makeup removers, and I always come back to this. Great for mid-day clean-ups if eyeliner starts to spread, etc. The oil one is great at night-- but use this one during the day.

I want this blush's press agent! Honestly, I've never read more about a single product/color! But it is nice. I have it and like it. It's a bit pricey for me, but I would probably add it to my short-list for someone starting a high-quality, versatile little makeup collection.

I am one of those women who feels (and looks) pretty bad without makeup. But I don't want to get "all dolled up" just to go to work or to the grocery store. Base Escentuals is perfect for me (once I figured out the medium vs. medium beige thing-- the latter being too yellow for my pale, Irish complexion.) I have to admit I have tried some cheaper imitations (E.L.F, etc) but I do come back to the original each time. I'm not quite sure why so many of these reviews are negative. I guess maybe a good primer or even a basic moisturizer before application might help.
