I really love the balm eyeshadow. It's so soft and smooth. Blends easily and they have terrific colors. They last all day with a primer without fading on me. I am starting to prefer the balm eyeshadow over any other - even urban decay. You get a decent amount of product for the price and little often goes a long way. You can buy the shady lady colors in palettes too. They have 3 great palettes. I actually got a full sized shadow (shameless shanna - a great bronze color) in my My Glam bag recently and I love it! They need to put more balm products on this website to review because the are awesome!

I have work is overrated. It does come off a bit too shimmery at first but tones down through the day. I wore it over some purple colors and it turned it into a taupe purple color that looked gorgeous. They are loose shadows in adorable containers. A tiny bit goes a long way. I want to buy the other three colors now! I find that I enjoy grabbing it so I can experiment and find out how it will change the color I pick for the day! It's a really great product that doesn't get enough love. Maybe because that is because people don't know how to use it or don't realize the way it can change an eyeshadow color to something completely unique. I highly recommend. If you want to save money check Haute Look regularly for when the balm comes at a discount.

I found that the matte version is the worst of the tarte lipsurgences for me. They feel a bit gritty when worn. I'm not sure I am a fan of the matte look. I have 2 and I can't wear them unless I layer an original lipsurgence over it. I would love for tarte to come out with more finishes and colors. This one just doesn't work for me.

The lusters are terrific! They are more of a lipstick. They do not stain like the original ones. The original ones wind up being too bright (changing color) on me for some reason. I love the golden shimmer that they have. If you don't like golden shimmer in your lipstick, this may not work for you. The color range works better for me and my fair skin. I only found one red one that didn't work for me. They are smooth and creamy and last for awhile. Application is easy and I love the roll up tube. They have the minty smell and taste. One of my favorites is the Achiote color and the color sweet. I have found a sort of drug store dupe to sweet. It's a L'Oreal Color Riche in Kerry's Rosewood is very similar and looks the same on the lips. These are my favorite lip pencils and I hope that tarte continues to come out with more colors and finishes.

I got one of these in a kit. It does lengthen a bit. It doesn't last all day like the lights, camera, lashes, nor does it make your lashes fuller like it either. I could not wait until my tube was done so I could go back to a better mascara. I find that it's ok if you like a very natural look to your lashes. If not then you should not buy it. tarte's mascara's are pricey and there are better ones out there. The bamboo tube packaging is large and fat. It is cute, but a bit cumbersome. Overall, I don't recommend it.

When I wear this gloss, my hair always jumps to my lips and sticks! It is stickier that I prefer and I think tarte has made far better glosses in the past. The colors are beautiful. The pen click style dispenser is fun, but gets old. You do have to click it about 20-50 times before the product starts to come out at first. I'm not a fan of click brush applicators for gloss. It's far too expensive also. I got mine in a kit and saved some money. The packaging reminds me of when I was a kid and avon sold the little sponge tipped perfumes in the kids section. It's very childish looking. I think they could have done a less childlike flower motif. tarte seems to be changing a lot of their products, getting rid of some old, good ones and replacing them with not all great ones. This is one of the not so great items. This is not something I will repurchase. There are far better glosses out there that my hair stays out of.

I think this is a great stain/gloss. The stain is a gel formula that offers great pigmentation. It does not go on streaky and last quite awhile. It does need to be reapplied after eating usually. I have the peach one which can come off a little Popsicle like on it's own. However with the gloss over it it is gorgeous. The red one is a suitable red - along the lines of benetint. It's a good red for people afraid of red (like me.) I have fair skin and it's just a nice flush color and the gloss gives it a nice shine. I also have the nude color and it is a browner toned nude. It looks great on my fair skin unlike most brown nudes that just look horrible on me. The gloss is a nice clearer nude gloss that tones down the brown just enough. The gloss is a minty vanilla type gloss that smells great and doesn't taste bad either. It's sticky enough to last a few hours, but not the gross weighty kind of sticky (the kind that's a bit suffocating on your lips). It does tingle a bit at first as it is cooling and when you wear both together your lips do appear fuller. It's a very smooth comfortable gloss. The gel type stain side has a doe foot applicator that works well, but I still tend to smooth out the edges with my fingers if need be. I find that applying it to my bottom lip and pressing my lips together, then adding a bit to the outer part of my upper lip works best for application. The gloss side has a brush applicator that also works very well. The brush is decent and stays straight (no splayed brush hairs that I have found) and applies smoothly. Overall I think these are one of the best stains tarte makes and I will be sad if they disappear.

I use this in the morning to scrub my lips. I use the balm to condition before applying lipstick. The balm is nice and smooth and soft. It really softens the lips. It does not taste as good as the scrub. The scrub is a sugar scrub that is wonderful! If the balm wasn't on the other side I would just eat it. It's that good. It really takes away the flakes. Sometimes when I'm in a hurry I will use both sides at once (from the top) and the lip balm mixes with the sugar scrub for a nice quick scrub and moisturizing effect. I see it is on sale at tarte. I am afraid they are discontinuing. I love the packaging. The two sided design is quick and easy. The little pop up mirror is adorable. I took an old empty and took out the parts inside and it makes a great toothpick holder - and you have the mirror to see your teeth! I am sure I could come up with more ways to recycle my old tubes. Of course they come in pretty purple tarte packaging. I do think the price tag is too hefty for what it is. Used every day a tube doesn't last long at all. The $10 sale price is nice, but I still think that is too much for how fast you can go through the product. Overall I think it's a great product that hasn't gotten enough love (probably due to the price point and the double sided application.) Now I have to find a good replacement lip scrub/balm if they discontinue it.

Doesn't open wide enough and is not wide enough to fit my large eyes. Endless pinching pain was all I got. I found a cheap drugstore curler that actually works.

I can't find this anywhere! I just emailed tarte to see if it is permanently discontinued. It was smooth and creamy and worked perfect for my 30 year old eyes! Best ever!
