I've used this a few times and I'm not really sure when I'm supposed to put it on? I've used it as a finishing powder and it made my face look soft and glowy, however I don't understand the "prime" part of it...?

Provides nice moisture without feeling like you have a thick layer of goo on your face. I use it twice a day in the colder/drier months and once in the evening during the humid/hotter months.

I think the biggest misconception when using Proactiv is that people think they can incorporate other products into the system. In doing that, you breakdown what the system was created to do...work together. By nature, I'm a skeptic and I want miracle results, but being a little older, I decided to give the Proactiv system a 30 day trial....and be patient with it. At the end of 30 days....my skin glowed. I've used this 3 - 4 different times and each time, I've experienced breakouts like you couldn't imagine. Everywhere I used this, a zit farm grew! Very bad! Looks beautiful when it's first applied, but within a few hours it's faded and made my skin look chalky. Also, if you have oily skin - this won't be your skins friend what so ever. Given the cost - there's MUCH BETTER options out there.

Considering these run between $5 - $10, there many better choices out there. They look fab when first applied, however give it a few hours and you'll find fading, creasing and the colors oxidizes.

Love the smell of this - smells like coconuts and being on vacation! Makes my color treated hair shiney and soft, however it kills any volume. A little bit lathers up really well so this will last for a long time.
