Love it, Love it, Love it!

I've been using this self tanner for about 10 months now and absolutely love it! I love the smell, love how easy it is to apply, love how quickly it dries and I love how long it lasts. I also tried the new "face" product they have and the "dark" formula looked really, really good on me (and moisturized my skin- bonus!). I have a complete crush on this self tanner and love my head-to-toe bronze glow!

Shiseido Brilliant Bronze Quick Self-Tanning Gel

Love this gel tanner

This is a really nice self tanner. It's a bit unique in that it's a clear gel. So if you need a guide when applying your self tanners, this one won't work for you. But I actually like that it's clear because it's not messy at all. It doesn't get all over the bathroom and it doesn't stain your sheets. Both pluses in my book! It also dries REALLY fast-- quicker than just about any self tanner I've seen. The next day the color was pretty good. It wasn't super dark; more of a medium colored tan. It's great for regular weekday use (I like to be darker on the weekends when I go out). Oh, the smell's not too bad either. Just a clean fresh scent. So overall I really like Shiseido's product :)

Neutrogena Build-a-Tan Gradual Sunless Tan Lotion

Good Color- Bad Smell

This product gets a lot of harsh reviews, but I don't think it's as bad as some of them say. Now, I know the smell isn't the greatest. And as with all gradual self tanners, it sucks having to put it on every day or two (especially if you're using it for your whole body). But I actually really like the color Build A Tan gives me. It's a light to medium shade that looks very natural. If it smelled better and lasted longer, I'd probably use this one all the time. But as it is, I'd only use it occasionally for my legs or something like that!

Kiehl's Sun-Free Self-Tanning Formula

Not Impressed

I had seen a few reviews out there that said this was a good self tanning product. So I went to their website and bought it for about $25. It wasn't too hard to apply, but the smell wasn't great. It has a very "chemical" odor to it. Anyway, I put it on at night and woke up the next day to discover a very orange and splotchy color. It was very streaky. Based on that, I really didn't like this self tanning product :(
