good texture, needs more colors

The compact itself is so pretty, it stays shut - I've had trouble with compacts opening in my bag in the past - and the powder itself is a great texture. I wanted to try mineral makeup and someone gave this to me, but the color is slightly too olive-toned for my skin, and none of the other shades seems quite right, either. So that's a bummer, because I'd like this to be my daily makeup!

Lisa Hoffman Day Eye Cream

not too light, not too heavy

I like this eyecream particularly for its weight. It feels substantial without being thick. It's also been working well for me both short-term and longer. I haven't gotten any lines at the corners I've my eyes, and on a daily basis, the circles underneath my eyes have become less noticeable, even though I'm still not getting enough sleep. I was also pretty happy because I went to buy more of the cream, and the price had been lowered! My new tube cost me $18, which is how much some drugstore eye creams are. I can make the tube last quite a while, so this is pretty cost effective, I would say.

Benefit BADgal Lash

almost there??

The mascara goes on very well in terms of not clumping. However, I thought it might extend/thicken a leeeetle better than it did. Kind of just wanted more ooomph out of it.

Lisa Hoffman Body Wash

pretty pretty!

i think this is the most luxurious body wash i've ever used! i'm really into it because it makes my skin look nicer as well as feel good. i know you're supposed to wash soap off your skin right away, but this body wash smells so good i want to just leave it on for a little extra time when i'm in the shower! and it's technically for the bath but i just use it in the shower too.

Mason Pearson Detangling Comb

i thought it was wonderful...

....and then the other day, it broke! it wasn't even like the handle snapped off, the comb itself broke in half! i was so shocked! i loved this comb, had been using it for maybe three years now. i don't think that that's long. aren't mason pearson brushes supposed to last forever? i guess i'll buy a new one...i don't know. if anyone has advice, let me know!
