OPI Nail Lacquer

There are so friggin amazing

I previously used drugstore nail polish like sally hansen or revlon and then I switched over the china glaze. Everyone kept saying that OPI is so amazing and then I found out that people liked China Glaze, which was cheaper, and made by OPI. So I bought a bunch of China Glaze nail polishes and I absolutely loved the color. However, as I began to layer it, it got goopy and streaky and I didn't know that good nail polish wasn't streaky. I didn't get OPI because it is quite expensive but after I saw the streaking I decided to buy one in Royal Rajah Ruby. I didn't think it would be any different from China Glaze but I was dead wrong. This nail polish is fan-freakin-tastic. There was no streaking and after two coats there was no transparency whatsoever. I am pretty rough on my nails as I type a lot and don't really preserve my nail polish but this lasted quite a while. Unless you put on a top coat they do get dull, but maybe its just me. Anyways it is AWESOME. Even if it is freaking 8 bucks.

It is a great budget-friendly lip gloss

It is a great lip gloss and it has great pigmentation but I must say that it is more watery than many other lip glosses. It doesn't really have even a remotely thick consistency. Also, I must say that the applicator is not the best. It soaks up the product and picks up way to much. When you dip your applicator into the gloss and wipe off the excess gloss on the side and apply it to your lips, the gloss the applicator absorbed will be slathered all over your lips. If you don't mind the application and the watery gloss than it is an excellent gloss. Great prices and colors.

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

Mostly Awesome

I just got started in makeup and I thought that eyeliners were supposed to pull on your skin and be difficult to apply. I bought a set of these and I was astounded. They glide on effortlessly and don't even begin to compare to the drugstore eyeliners or the Sephora brand ones. I love using them and they come in a variety of colors so you can always match your look. The one thing that I didn't like about this pencil was lining my waterline. If you can get it on your waterline neatly than it will stay for a long time but it is quite difficult for me to get some of the eyeliners on there. The reason is that the eyeliner is very soft and crumbly so if your put too much pressure on it, it crumbles on your waterline and you get a bunch of fallout. Another thing is that you can't really get this to a fine tip. It's fine for me because I'm a monolid and I need a thick line but for those who like having a fine line of eyeliner, this probably won't work well for you.
