I had been interested in finding a product to fill in my brows but every product I found so far was too dark and I was looking for a more natural look. I decided to try this product after a very nice salesperson at Ulta recommended it to me. I Waited and bought it at Sephora and I tried on both shades (I have dark brown hair fyi and my eyebrows are also dark). Both shades worked. Perhaps it was because I was SUUUUPER light handed with the darker shade (you haven't lived until you see a makeup artist give someone you know Groucho Marx eyebrows and the ensuing hysterics that follow when they see it). Both looked extremely similar so I decided to buy the lighter shade. My reasoning was that I'd rather have the option of layering the product until it was as dark as I wanted rather then be stuck with the darker shade where I couldn't turn back. The product is easy to apply and if you make a mistake, it's also easy to wipe off.

This is supposed to be used as a moisturizer but it has two and a half percent benzoyl peroxide in it so how does that work out?

The way I was told the proactiv 3 step system is supposed to work is that all the product in all 3 steps should run out at the same time. I've been using this stuff since 2008 and not once has this happened to me. This stuff ALWAYS runs out first. I finally started to buy an extra bottle of this stuff with every 3 step system I purchased because that's what made the most sense so I wasn't left high and dry.

I have been using proactiv since 2008 and although my skin did look better, it was ADDICTED to this stuff. I miss one wash and BOOM I break out. I once got a double zit (a zit on top of another zit) which was pretty traumatizing. When I tried to get off this stuff nothing really worked. Something would work for a few days or weeks but then out of nowhere I'd start breaking out all over my face. I decided to try the new proactiv+ and same results, a few good weeks but then 5 zits hit me at once and I just felt defeated. I'd love to find an alternative to this stuff but until then, I'm stuck and I hate it!

If you're new to highlighting this stuff can be intense if put on too thick. I prefer powder highlighters to cream because I've had issues with cream highlighters pulling at my other makeup when I try to blend which ruins it.

I started to notice that despite my skin feeling soft, smooth and hydrated, over the course of a day my skin would begin to look quite scaly and dry. I had never been to the clinique counter before so in blind faith I decided to see if they could help me. After seeing and feeling my skin the nice lady told me to try using this cream to exfoliate and I immediately saw results. My skin improved immediately. I don't use it everyday but whenever I feel or see my skin looking flaky I use this and the problem gets better!

I've been using these since I started wearing makeup. No complaints really. A nifty trick to always remembering to use them is to keep them on your bed (if it's big enough) or right next to it. Really REALLY helps! Also, buying them in bulk at Costco.

I've had this product recommended to me twice now in 1 or 2ish years and unfortunately I bought it both times. It never did anything bad to my eyes but I'm not sure if it has done anything good either. I have horrible dark circles under my eyes, bad enough that people thing I got in a fight (if you get my drift) so I'm ALWAYS looking around for things to help me cover them as seamlessly as possible. One concern I brought up to the person helping me is that if I'm putting on a brightener under my eyes and then I cover it with 1 or 2 layers of concealer, how is that brightener doing anything to help me? I think if you are one of the lucky people who doesn't have severe dark circles and occasionally looks tired if you don't sleep enough, this might work for you but if you're like me and can't leave they house without putting on concealer then it would probably be best to skip this product. I'll probably take it back, no use in wasting my money.

When I began to look into trying out false eyelashes the first piece of advice I received was to use this adhesive and NEVER the one that comes with the eyelashes. So far Duo has never let me down. I'd stick to the clear one though 100%.

I generally trust Maybelline products a bit more then the rest because my favorite mascaras and eyeshadows are typically Maybelline. So when I wanted to find a less expensive eyeliner to have in my purse for touchups it's no surprise that I went to them. I favor the pinup look complete with cat eye eyeliner. Sometimes my wing or flick or whatever you choose to call it wears off in some areas like just at the outer corner of my eye and when that happens it's bugs the you know what out of me. I might have just gotten the one bad liner out of the bunch but there was nothing positive about my purchase. The pigments weren't as rich as I had hoped and it dried up suuuuper fast/didn't really apply easily. I never leave the cap off and since this was my purse pen it was hardly used. If you do choose to get it I'd recommend getting it somewhere with a good return policy like CVS and make sure you keep the receipt so you can exchange it and try something else if you end up having the same experience as me.
