I gave a set of Amazing Grace products to my mother for her birthday this year, and she fell in love with them. She was a bit wary of the shampoo/shower gel/bubble bath combination at first, but I convinced her that Philosophy's multi-tasking products really do each of their jobs well. The scent is gorgeous, very fresh and light but still noticeable, and the formula is moisturizing. Plus the product leaves a very nice aroma in the bathroom even after your shower is finished!

My mother has used aquaphor religiously for as long as I can remember, and she imparted its glory to her children as well. It is great for sensitive cuticles, chapped lips, dry spots of skin (knees and elbows, for instance) and pretty much anything that needs soothing or moisture. The large tub of product lasts forever, and is truly worth the price.

I love all NARS products, and this one is no exception. The colors from these lip lacquers are gorgeous and long-lasting, and really my only gripe is one that other people have noted: I dislike lip balms that require the use of your finger or a lip brush to apply. They are just less convenient than lip products that come ready to apply in stick format or with an applicator included. Other than that, this product is fantastic.

I absolutely loved this product, and found the color to stay true throughout the day. It did end up creasing a bit on me, but every shadow product creases on me (even when using primers). This was definitely one of the best-lasting eye products I've ever used, and it was super easy to apply with either brush or my finger tips. Although the price is slightly expensive, the investment is worth it.

This formula does last long, but by the late afternoon it had begun to wear out unevenly on my lips. It showed minor tell-tale flaking, which many long-last lip colors have - however, upon first application the color is great, and the topcoast is comfortable.

I was initially excited to try out this product, but I found the texture a bit grainy for the lips, and the tint it provided both lips and cheeks seemed almost artificially bright for my olive complexion. Overall, it didn't leave a lasting impression on me.

Philosophy When Hope Is Not Enough Age Defense Moisturizer with SPF 20
Not good for people with combination skin
I really wanted to find a moisturizer with SPF in it, and I've always liked Philosophy's products, so I decided to try "When Hope is Not Enough - SPF." My combination skin can get oily to begin with, and unfortunately this product only accentuated that. I loved that it had SPF protection, and it felt good on my face, but it inevitably left me shiny by mid-morning and throughout the day.

I really like the light, lemony fragrance of the spray, but unfortuantely I didn't feel it had much staying power. I hadn't been wearing it very long before I couldn't even tell I had any scent on at all. However, it is still a pretty, summery fragrance that always lifts my spirits.

I heard good things about this product from an online beauty blog, but when I purchased it to try out, I was disappointed. I felt it was extremely thick and kind of paste-y feeling, plus it had a strange smell that I couldn't handle. I did notice some plumping action, but that may have been because the gloss was so thick. There was also a good amount of shine, but the product was really too sticky to be practical.

I generally tend to stick to either lightly scented or scent-free bath products since I usually get bored with the smell before I finish the bottle. The BIG exceptions are the Body Shop bath gels, and especially the Mango Foaming Bath gel. My younger sister left her bottle in the shower one morning, and I was curious so I tried it. I couldn't believe how delicious the scent was - really energizing, uplifting and fun. I love these!
