  • Benefit The POREfessional: Agent Zero Shine

I was instantly intrigued by this product when it was recommended to me at Sephora. I have an oily t-zone despite using primer and powder foundation, so I was on the hunt for something I could keep in my purse for touch ups throughout the work day. The packaging design is really brilliant. The mini kabuki brush twists into the bottom easily, and the lid is a perfect place to swirl powder onto the brush. The powder itself does a great job hiding shine and pores. Now on to the negatives. Every time I use the kabuki brush, black bristles come off and stick to my face. Which makes it impossible to do touch ups without a mirror, unless you don't mind looking as though you've randomly sprouted inch long brown hair on random parts of your face. It really is a shame, the product design is such a wonderful thing, they just clearly skimped on the quality of the brush itself. I understand that it probably goes through a lot of wear and tear being smashed together and pushed up into the tube, but the bristles fell out on my first application and on every subsequent application. An average of 3 or 4 each time. I'm surprised I haven't run out of bristles before running out of powder. If they fix this problem, I would buy it again. But for now, it's too expensive for something that falls apart right away.

  • BareMinerals Clear Radiance

I am totally in love with clear radiance. I'm fair enough that I just use it as a blush, and I'm constantly getting compliments on it. I know, BareMinerals can get a little pricey...but their products last you a long time. I've had my current container of clear radiance for over a year and it's still half full.

  • Maybelline New York Full 'N Soft Waterproof Mascara

No doubt about it, this is my all time favorite. I admit, I have strayed over the years, trying just about every new mascara invention...but I always go back to Full N' Soft. It is so easy to apply and it does just what its' name implies. It makes your lashes full, while remaining soft. Which is annoyingly rare in most mascaras. I'd definitely recommend this.

Maybelline New York Expert Wear Bronzer

    Not usually a bronzer fan,

But this stuff is amazing. It gives just the right amount of color. Assuming, of course, you use it sparingly. It isn't at all orange-y or fake looking and it gives a natural glow all year round.

  • Physicians Formula Baked Collection Wet/Dry Eye Shadow

I decided to try this eye shadow a few weeks back because I wanted to try some brown eye shadow. After one application, I fell in love. This shadow is amazing, and very easy to blend. I'm going to go out and buy it in a few more colors.

  • BareMinerals Original Foundation Broad Spectrum SPF 15

I originally tried BareMinerals a few years back, and wasn't entirely satisfied with the results. One has to keep in mind that it isn't meant to cover as much as say, a liquid would. I recently decided to give it a second chance, and after learning how to properly apply it, I fell in love. I especially like the dewy aftereffect of the application. The only problem I can think of is that the kabuki brush can be a little irritating if you buff too vigorously. But other than that, I would recommend this foundation to any of my friends.
