My Favorite Nars blush is Lovejoy; "it's the Orgasm for all the people that Orgasm doesn't show up on". Once I tried it at Sephora I instantly fell in love. It complements my NC 45 skin tone very well and doesn't look the least bit chalky or disco like. In the pan Lovejoy looks a little boring, but once it's on it gives me a very natural blush with a tiny bit of shimmer; it really wakes up my face, and adds just the right amount of color to make me look put together, but not overly made up.

The first tube of this I bought dried out kind of quickly, but I repurchased from Ulta instead of Wal-Mart and I haven't had any problems since. I love this mascara (I have three tubes of it at the moment, that kind of circulate around with me, so I'm never without it). I have fine lashes that are average length, and this gives me what I call my "movie star eyelashes." They don't look quite fake IMO, but they look really full and long. The other day my DH actually stopped and asked me if I was wearing fake lashes though. I use this right after my Shiseido eyelash curler, and it holds up very well in my opinion. My lashes stay relatively curled till I go to bed at night and I don't have any problems with flaking, smearing, or smudging; I don't often coat my lower lashes but I do tend to rub my eyes and use eye drops for my contacts. Before I apply this I wipe the wand on the back of my hand to remove any excess, and that seems to go a long way to eliminating clumpies. Other than that, I haven't noticed any clumping problems unless I'm really layering it on, but even then it's nothing a spare spooly can't fix. For me this has become a staple and I'm fast becoming reluctant to purchase anything else.

For me I think that this is just okay. It does define individual lashes well, and it does hold a curl throughout the day, but other than that it's just there (I can get just about the same effect with Vaseline and an eyelash curler). I don't think that this really lengthens or adds volume to my lashes, and periodically a flake will fall in my eye and really make my contacts uncomfortable. I do like the wand on this, but now just about everybody has a rubberized wand, so I don't feel like I really need this particular mascara. When I'm done with this tube, I will be going back to my Volume Couture, and I don't think that I'll miss this. This is good for a daytime professional kind of look, but I want Elizabeth Taylor lashes, so this just isn't the product for me.

This mascara works okay. If you apply it just right it coats well, but if I used to much it started to look clumpy, and after a while it flakes and gets in my eyes. It's not the worst mascara that I've ever used, and it works okay if you just want a basic mascara look, but it's definitely not the best one out their either.

I used to wear this everyday, and I received a number of complements on it, but after my original bottle ran out I just didn't repurchase for a long time. Recently I decided to give it another try and while I still like the fragrance, it's sparkley, young, and floral. it just doesn't seem to do the trick that it used to. I'm not sure if it's because I'm older now, or if my tastes have just changed, but it almost feels too youthful and flirty. It's a great spring fragrance, and I'll pull it out again next year, but for now it just doesn't seem to have the sophistication that I crave.

I don't know if I just got a bad tube of this or if the mascara itself is bad, but when I opened the tube it was really THICK and was hard to apply. This was clumpy and layering was pretty much out of the question since it made my lashes stick together uncontrollably. I liked that the tube was flexible (theoretically so it would stay creamy), but the bottom seal popped open on the first day. I ended up taping the end, so it wouldn't get messy and dry out, but it still seemed to dry out quickly and I was only able to use this a handful of times before I had to throw it away.

I received this as a gift, and generally I really like it and Burt's Bees products. Everything moisturizes well, and seems to be natural. My only complaint is about the fragrances. They are kind of strong and bothersome, nothing smells bad by any means, in fact they smell good, but the scent is really strong. Others can smell my honey balm when I walk into a room, which isn't really something that I like.

I have this in Ravenous, it's a wet/dry shadow trio made up of pretty, bold neutrals (on fairer skin these aren't so neutral). The trio consists of a warm matte black followed by a shimmery bronze and a shimmery goldenrod. Used dry the shadows seem chalky and don't transfer well. They either won't appear on my skin, or they end up all over. So far the effect has not been good. The warm black looks sooty on application and the bronze virtually disappears. The goldenrod works reasonably well as a brow bone highlighter but it's nothing that other products can't do better. When used wet, this looks about the way it should have looked when used dry. Basically, the colors, never actually get as bold as the pan color, so there's little drama, but they do show up and are easier to apply. However, now I look old; as the shadows dried they settled into every little crease on my eyelids, making my eyes look about ten years older. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the shadows' longevity, as I would never wear them long enough to leave my house like this. Basically these are cheap shadows that look cheap

The is one of only two fiber mascaras that I've tried, the other one being Imju's Fiberwig. Like Fiberwig, this gave me noticably longer lashes (about 1-2mm) and is hard to layer with other mascaras. Unlike Fiberwig, this has a smell that really bothers me (like ballpoint pen ink) and it has a reasonable amount of volume, so my lashes don't look thin and wispy. Overall this isn't my favorite mascara, but it's a decent fiber mascara for the price.
