I had such high hopes for this product, especially after reading so many great reviews. Sad to say, this product sucked on me. The finish is so shiny (just like BE) and I was told by the salesperson that it was matte. Not true. I have large pores and this really highlighted not only my pores but every imperfection in my skin. I tried it with just moisturizer as a base, then moisturizer and a primer, then Prescriptives tinted moisturizer as a base....and so on. I am 52 yrs old and ladies, take my word for it: if you are in this age group be very careful of this product. That "glow" is great for the younger set, but doesn't look very good on older skin. Unless you are lucky enough to have flawless skin to start with.

I've been a diehard Bobbi fan for years. Got this in a neutral color hoping to use as a base and be able to skip the primer step. Either I got a bad product batch (twice) or this just does not like me. Was so hard to put on, very dry and hard to work with. And yet after I beat it into submission a few hours later it was creased and faded. Go figure. I don't get it. Had to give it up, too expensive to keep buying and hoping it will work.

I have been using this off and on for several years. When it first came out, there were several colors to choose from. Now it's down to 2. The formula is perfect for me; mature skin, red hair, fair skin with some slightly red undertones. I use both colors and like them both. This really works well as a base or a subtle look and does a good job of neutralizing red. Staying power galore. Wouldn't recommend it to the younger crowd looking for impact. Great for the older girls.

I have spent enough money on primers to...well, just enough. This stuff is great. No crease, no fade, does not change the color of your shadow. Good job Too Faced.

The whole shimmery eyeshadow thing bugs me to DEATH!! It's a beautiful look with young skin but not so much when you are older. I am 51 and am constantly looking for wearable, blendable eyeshadow in something other than brown. I have red hair and blue eyes and I like to change things up from time to time. These eyeshadows fit the bill. Easy to blend, the colors I use don't scream look at me, and they last very well. I just wish there was more to choose from in matte formula. That is why I did not rate them the highest.

I have several of these. I find the more neutral colors do require a heavy handed application to show up. But the brighter colors such as violet I found to be no different in pigment intensity than more expensive products. Great staying power.
