NYX Cosmetics NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream

Thought I would love it, and do, but.

I loved the feel and color of this cross between lipstick proper and lip cream. My only complaint is that the color doesn't last very long. It leaves my lips feeling amazing, but I'm one of those who hates having to reapply over and over again. I did find that if I used a lip primer, the color did last longer, but that adds another cosmetic to my bag, which I was hoping to not have to add.

Nexxus Alluring Curls Curl Creating Gel Elixir

For years, my hair was past my waist. It had a bit of wave, wasn't stick straight, but when I cut off 24" of it, suddenly I had loose, ringlet curls. At first, I thought I would try to straighten it. After trying that a few times, I wasn't willing to spend the time, and didn't want to damage my hair with heat appliances (I'd never used blow dryers or curling irons, and a flat iron didn't make me feel any better). I decided not to fight with my hair, and just needed to find the right product to support my curls and not weigh them down. I tried some Matrix products recommended by my stylist, then some Biolage. Finally, I saw this product. Since my hair tends to be dry, I shampoo once or twice a week. I do use it post-shampoo, but I also use it daily, after spraying my hair with Humectress leave in. Just a small amount scrunched into damp hair revives my curls for the entire day.

Nexxus Therappe Rebalancing Shampoo

What can you say about perfection?

I've used Therappe for more years than I care to disclose, through my younger years with all the crazy coloring and highlighting, now into my middle years. It's STILL the best shampoo out there, bar none. It is worth every penny you spend...and who can resist the whipped cream lather? Add a heavenly scent, and it's been my go-to for decades now. Sure, I've strayed, falling for other ads, but I've always come back. I'm glad it's finally made it into retail stores, my only complaint about it is that you used to HAVE to go into a salon to get it, and pay their markup (well earned, I am sure).

Nexxus Humectress Luxe Lightweight Conditioning Mist

Fantastic for dry ends, daily styles, and doesn't pull curls out!

I have VERY thick, naturally curly hair (not tight curls, loose ringlets is more appropriate). Although I have never touched my hair with a blow dryer or curling iron, my ends get dry. I use Nexxus Therappe Shampoo (who can resist the whipped cream lather?), and Humectress conditioner, When I found a Humectress leave in, I thought it would be worth trying. Needless to say, it's an indispensable part of my daily routine. Not only does it keep my ends shiny and smooth, every time I spray it into my hair, it leaves a wonderful scent. It's perfect for in between shampoos too. It's so light that it doesn't pull my curls, I use it to pre-dampen my hair, before I add Nexxus' curl gel (which name escapes me at the moment). I would recommend this for anyone. One caveat: if you have thinner hair, you might want to use it every other day.
