I've been on the lookout for a chemical-free lip balm that isn't either super white (life guard!) or too oddly mineral-colored (some version of orangey nude). Ta-da! It's the same formula (as far as I can tell) as the lip drink but cheaper because it's marketed to men. It's goes on clear (i.e. my husband also uses it) and smooth, and the protection is all natural. Very slight citrus flavor that's not cloying or anything. I'm stocking up!

I'm an Aveda girl in the morning, and I'm definitely a happier morning girl for it. You'll still need lotion after this, but it isn't drying. Just yummy, cleansing, and invigorating.

I've been on the hunt for the perfect mineral sunscreen. This one rubs in better than most (not the white-ghost look), and the formula is smooth (plus I'm really happy about all the natural ingredients). I'm in my mid-twenties, though, with acne-prone skin, and this may have been a break-out culprit. I'm going to give it another try, but for now it's great as a body sunscreen. And my husband, who has dry skin, has been quite happy with it (and no breakouts). Not overly expensive and free of nasty chemicals!

Love the smell -- just enough to stay with me after the shower but not so much that is overwhelms my actual perfume. Makes me happy, and keeps my fine hair smooth but not flat.

Read a review of this that led me to believe I might be able to skip a step in my morning routine. Ah, not so. That said, I don't mind the smell (pretty light, a little milky/honey), and it does clean well. It's also not more drying. My husband has really bad dry, scaly skin on his arms, and this actually seems to be helping that. Good for soap, but not a lotion replacer.

I was so pleased to find this -- free of all the nasty ingredients I worry about and not super expensive in comparison to other mineral sunscreens. I use this as my lotion in the summer for daytime; it's moisturizing, protective, and it soaks in really fast (the whiteness disappears within a couple minutes of rubbing it in).

Dr. Hauschka Sunscreen Cream for Children and Sensitive Skin SPF 30
Depends on what you're looking for
This offers a super-high degree of protection without irritation or breakouts (from my experience). It is *thick* though, and even when use a minimal amount left me with a ghostly white face, even after I gave it time to soak in. So... I use it when I'm running or hiking outdoors (and not looking to impress anyone). There are better mineral sunscreens to use under make-up (like Mychelle), but this one certainly has staying power. Not sure how easy it would be to spread on soft baby skin though...Overall, lots of protection, but not good for everyday use.

Loved this when I got a sample, but it's got some chemical concerns, including parabens. :-( I'd be a fan for life otherwise!

I appreciate the all-naturalness of the shampoo, and I thought the lavender smell was actually quite nice. It was a little over-drying for my hair though.

It smells good on me, it smells good on my sister, and my husband's not allergic to it. Lasts well throughout the day, isn't overpowering, and doesn't cost an arm and a leg. It's a winner!
