I have two bottles of this: one on my nightstand and one in my office. I use it every night before bed, laying down a generous layer on the horseshoe shape of my nail perimeter, followed by hand lotion. I also use it in the morning in my office, and occasionally throughout the day if my hands are particularly dry. It is the best stuff for keeping your fingernails, cuticles, and that whole area in general looking fabulous. I don't even get regular manicures because I'm so hard on my hands. Pedicures, yes, but not manicures. And my hands and nails look lovely because of this oil.

I have about 7 of these lip glosses and am a little more disappointed each time I buy one. I thought each time that it was just me or that it'd be better next time because most of BB's products are so high-quality, but it's time to admit the truth: the lip glosses aren't that great. The colors are varied and right on trend. The size is portable and perfect for travel. However, the gloss itself is too sticky, and the main problem is with the BRUSH. Every single one of the 7 full-sized glosses I have purchased over the past few years has had a brush that is ruined at the outset. The brush has never come out of the tube the first time straight or flat. Rather, it comes out looking like Medusa's head of hair: bristles jumping and splayed in all directions, pointing up, down, and every which way. This makes the gloss almost impossible to put on your lips looking like anything but a mess. And nothing I have done to try and straighten out the crazy bristles or flatten them has worked. Now that I think of it, I've wasted over $150 on lip glosses that have been defective from the moment I opened them. My fault for not learning, but I won't buy them anymore, no matter how much I love the new colors.

I thought, "it's Secret; how great can it be?" Now I'm a convert and will use nothing else. I never used to have a problem with deodorant losing strength or any sort of smell. I used Dove or regular Secret and was good to go. In the past few years, though, especially when I wore wool sweaters, I'd gotten, well, a little stinky. This works wonders! I usually use it as directed - i.e., at night - but it also works if I shower in the morning and don't apply it until then. Light smell, no stain or streaks, not wet in any way. Only reason it's not 10 stars is due to its high price (although there are regularly coupons in the Sunday papers). I'm hoping once they recoup their costs in a few years that they'll use this formulation in all Secret products.

I gave Cover Girl Lash Exact 10 stars because it is the only mascara I've found that truly does not clump. This mascara, Volume Exact, is supposed to be the volumizing version of Lash Exact, so I was expecting a knockout product. Unfortunately, you'd never know it was in the same family as Lash Exact because it does not have the "exactness" of Lash Exact; rather, it clumps horribly. I was truly surprised because Lash Exact is so revolutionary (in my book). But Volume Exact clumped as it went on, clumped my lashes together so I looked like I had only 5 or 6 huge lashes, and didn't even plump up the volume as you'd expect from its name (unless you consider clumping to be volume). I tried it with only a few swipes, up to several swipes, and nothing clicked. Disappointing.

I've tried them all. Or at least close to them all, from the drugstore to luxury brands. Others that have promised not to clump have always clumped, including the consistently award-winning Maybelline Great Lash mascara. This CG mascara is the first and only one in my 20+ years of wearing makeup that does not clump. Period. I have lashes of average length and thickness, and this mascara perfectly defines, lengthens, and adds volume - but not in an extreme way. This mascara is no DiorShow, but it goes on perfectly and easily with this revolutionary brush. I was pleasantly amazed when I tried it. I've tried other brands that've come out with similar brushes (including much more expensive brands), and I don't think anyone else has gotten it quite as right as CG.

I think I've tried every eyeshadow base out there because I had never been able to find one that worked; they all - no matter how expensive or "innovative" - creased or oiled up or faded. Until Mac Paints. My sister raved about them, and it took me a year to actually try them because I did not believe that they could work as well as she claimed. I've used them for over a year now, and I will never use anything else ever again. I use my ring finger to swipe it from my lash line up to my eyebrows, and then apply eyeshadow or eye liner on top of it and they DON'T BUDGE. Truly. I still don't understand how something not claiming to be an eyeshadow base can work better than any of the supposed eyeshadow bases - but it does.

It is true that this does not dry and flake off. It is also true that it brightens the undereye area. It lightly covers circles, but is not a true opaque concealer. Even the BB website describes it as working best for those who need lightweight concealers. It definitely makes your undereye area look better than without it, but is probably not the best (or at least not alone) for those with darker circles. It is a good tradeoff, though, if you do not want to use the heavier opaque concealers because it is so difficult to find those types that look natural. This definitely looks natural.
