I'm a sucker for products I see on social media & Glossier Boy Brow is no exception. I actually have nice, thick brows & I think it's because I didn't start tweezing & waxing them until I was in my mid 20's (I'm 40 now) & I do all of my own brow work after never being satisfied with the results when I'd pay someone else to do them. Even though my brows are thick I keep them neat & trimmed & get a lot of compliments but they can always be better, right? I don't have to go hard with brow products to fill in any sparse areas, except for a little bit at the tail ends, but I do like for them to look neat & for the hairs stay in place all day so I always use a brow gel for this. Back in the day, even before I began tweezing & waxing, I'd use hairspray or gel on an old toothbrush, eventually investing in a lash/brow comb for this. Then I began using clear mascara (hello Maybelline Great Lash!) & finally moving on to ABH clear brow gel. Around this time I discovered Benefit's Gimme Brow, which I used for years. Once Glossier hit the scene I was intrigued with their skincare products & then I stumbled across a YouTube video featuring Boy Brow. After that I was seeing it everywhere & figured there's gotta be something about this product that makes it stand out from the rest & I placed my order. Boy oh boy am I glad I did! This brow gel is amazing! From the fabulously tiny brush, the "stay in place all day" formula & the shade that matches me perfectly I cannot see myself using any other tinted brow gel for a long time to come.

Suki Exfoliate Foaming Cleanser

I ordered this product after reading about it & it's become a staple in my skincare regimen as a twice weekly exfoliator. This is a dry scrub, meaning that u have to add water first before it'll emulsify. I take a small amount (a little really does go a long way) in the palm of my hand, add a few drops of water, distribute the product to both of my hands & then apply to my face, gently scrubbing in circular motions. The sugar grains may seem too large to put on your face but they dissolve a bit when u add water. I love this exfoliator because it really does the job but it's gentle & it leaves my skin the softest it's ever been. I gave this product 8 stars out of 10 because over time it's become hard to get out of the jar (its all stuck together & I have to scrape some out with the handle of a metal spoon whenever I want to use it). I've never dropped water into the jar plus it's stored with the lid on tight & inside of a drawer. Other than that this is the perfect, gentle but really effective, exfoliator imo.

Avene Soothing Moisture Mask

Game Changer!

After turning 40 last summer my skin went from normal/combo to normal/dry, especially my under eye area, which has been making any & all concealers look horrible no matter what I do. I seriously love masking & whenever I apply a pore purging mud mask I always follow it up with a hard core moisturizing mask. My long time go-to has been the Glam Glow Hydrating mask but at $69 I'm up to try anything less expensive as long as it works. I've had a sample sized tube of the Avenè Moisture Mask for I dunno how long but after re-discovering it (while organizing my sample drawer) I decided to give it a go. I didn't expect much since it has the same consistency as a generic lotion but OMG the results were mind blowing! This stuff is magical! It made my skin so soft & deeply hydrated. When I apply a more invasive face mask I always apply a thick moisturizer under both eyes to protect that already dry & sensitive area so I figured why not apply the Avenè Moisture Mask since it worked so well on my face & now I cannot live without it. I always use it on days where I'll be wearing any makeup under my eyes (concealer, foundation, BB creams, powders, etc). After cleansing & toning I apply a thick layer under both eyes, let it sit for about 10-20 minutes (depending on how much time I have to procrastinate), & depending on what's left behind I'll either remove the excess with a cotton round or just pat it in til it's fully absorbed (my skin drinks this stuff right up so there's usually not much left behind). Afterwards my under eye area is completely hydrated, fine lines are essentially gone since the mask plumps my skin up with moisture, leaving behind a smooth canvas that's ready for makeup application. I cannot tell u all the compliments I've received since I started using the Avenè Moisture Mask & it's one of very few products I absolutely cannot live without!

Too Cool for School Egg Cream Mask Hydration

Holy Grail Status!

As a lover of skincare products I totally jumped on the K-beauty sheet mask bandwagon. Most sheet masks are pretty inexpensive & readily available so I'm constantly trying new ones all the time. I actually received this one from Too Cool For School in a beauty box last year sometime & the first thing I noticed was the cute packaging but bc of the whole egg cream thing I was a little concerned thinking it would be very slimy or have a strong odor. Luckily that was not the case. This mask is pure magic! My skin tends to be on the drier side but I still have some areas on my face with large pores & blackheads. Like I said, I try a lot of different sheet masks (I mask pretty much every day) & I was totally blown away by this one. My skin was left so smooth & soft. It evened out my skintone & made my pores almost non existent. It takes a lot for me to be "wow-ed" by a product but after using this mask just one time I ordered a 6 pack on Amazon bc it's something that I want to use once a week.

Max Factor Lash Perfection Mascara

THIS STUFF WORKS WONDERS!!!

I bought this because I liked the brush. When I got it home and used it I was happily surprised. It separates each lash and coats it without clumping. It really made my eyes stand out.
