It does give your hair a color, yet you have to use it for long time. It is harder to apply if you wash your hair daily, since you have to stay with your hair wet for at least thre minutes, then rinse. I agree, not that much shine.

I love this product. I do not use a concelear, yet I think some of my darkness is not as visible as before. Just love it!
