I received this as a sample through Allure - and, having been a Definicils convert since the day it hit the market - I believe I have found the competitor. There is zero flaking with this and, I don't know if it is the weird brush or what but the difference in the punch with this mascara is significant. Of course, my eyelashes have changed significantly over the years too so perhaps it is only fitting that they needed a change in the brush or formula - but I can tell you this mascara did exactly what I needed done. Definition to my eyes that is phenomenal, no flaking, no smudging, only a few swipes for phenomenal intensity and fluttery smoldering eyes! I dock it only because I cannot easily get it on my bottom lashes - and that is a learning curve "thing".

I have used so, so, so many home dermabrasion systems - even the hand held electronic ones. I am in my 50's and have very good skin and always have - but, let's face it, old skin is old skin! I have never gotten results from anything like I do with this. I use it in the shower twice a week and the Vit C every night and have just bought my second set. The Vitamin C makes your skin smell like french fries - seriously, but it goes away when you wash in the morning.

I had never tried a highlighter - tried this, checked with a couple of confidante's and I was advised that they never thought I needed highlighter.............but I needed something to hide the grey this brought out. This is another Lancome product that I just wonder was intended to be used a certain way but nobody has communicated what that "way" is. It is a sure bet I am getting caking with it. It is fine just to tap on my inner eye ever so minimally at the end of a day when going out but not good for a highlighter!

Geesh - I really like alot of Lancome's scents but this is just too, too floraly for me. I can't stand to smell myself with it on!

You can use pretty much any color of this with any color of lipstick. I like the consistency, although you have to kind of get used to applying so you don't waste any - and I really like the ultimate shine and "flavor". Doesn't last through a meal or lots of drinking but it lasts well uninterupted!

Just didn't create the magic. If you are going to pay this kind of money for a product, it should deliver within a few weeks - I'm all for giving anything a few weeks. This just didn't do anything more than the drugstore brands I have bought. Consistency was really great though.

The consistency of this cream is marvelous and gives an immediate smooth appearance. I have not, however, seen any lightening of the "freckles" or any long term benefit from use.

This works well with contact wearers - I just find the residue oily and don't like that feeling on my skin especially when I am going to apply eye cream.
