  • TRESemme Naturals Moisture Shampoo

I used to have another standby cheap shampoo, one day this was on sale so I decided to give it a try. I've usually been pretty neutral on Tresemme products. I've never thought they were good, but I never thought they were bad (I just didn't buy into their advertising). This is the perfect shampoo, especially when paired with its matching conditioner. My hair is always soft, smooth, and lightweight. I couldn't ask for something better. It also helps that it only runs $7 for 2 most of the time!

  • Ulta Kohl Eye Liner

I actually found that these go on easy...maybe too easy. Everytime I put it on it just looks so heavy that I have to take a lot of time to make it look just right.

Wet n Wild Eyeliner and Eyebrow Pencil

Wanted to like, but didn't deliver

I decided to give these a try. I've seen them get nothing but great reviews everywhere, so I figured it was worth a try. For 99 cents I really wasn't going to lose anything. I was expecting something that worked. I wasn't expecting eyeliner that would stay with me from 9 to 5, but I would have liked it to actually go on smoothly. It didn't even do that. In order to allow it to even think about going on, I had to zap it for a second with a hair dryer in order to soften it enough for it to glide on. That worked for half an eyelid, then I had to zap it again. The only reason why I'm rating this a 3 instead of a 1 is that for 99 cents, I was getting what I expected.

  • Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo

    Neutrogena T/Gel Therapeutic Shampoo

There's a reason why derms recommend this

I've had a dry, itchy, flaky scalp since I was a little kid. At one point I went to a dermotologist for my condition. He told me to use T-Gel twice a week. This is not designed to be an everyday shampoo. It is extremely harsh on your hair. It is not a "beauty" product, but moreso a medication. With that in mind, on the days I use this, I usually follow up with a deep conditioning treatment. It honestly does a great job at getting rid of flakes, and that's why doctors recommend it! However, don't expect it to give you that beautiful hair that Head and Shoulders promises. However, there is a reason for that...this stuff works, and Head and Shoulders doesn't. The biggest downside to this stuff is the price. Luckily, I was able to get the largest size on sale at CVS for $4.99 a few months ago and I still have a nearly full bottle.

    Neutrogena Oil-Free Fresh Moisture

    Best drugstore moisturizer I've found

Unfortunately, the recession has been eating at my beauty budget, so I've had to switch from my Clinique Moisturizer to something cheaper. While at Ulta, I browsed awhile and decided on a whim to give this stuff a try. I love it better than the Clinique Stuff. I have combination dry/oily skin. The winter weather has just about made my skin dry all over. I love how this stuff absorbs quickly. It literally just melts right into my skin. I don't feel as though I have a thick flim all over my face. However, as most other reviewers have said, it doesn't have a very rich moisture to it. At first, I didn't feel as though it was quite enough moisture, but I stuck with it and a week later my skin is looking a lot better. If you need light moisture and prefer something breathable, then this is definately the best moisturizer you can get for under $15.

  • Neutrogena Body Clear Body Wash

I will caution you before reading my review...if you are eating anything, don't read this review. Okay...good. My husband can get some pretty bad acne on his back. It is seriously gross. After knowing him for a few months, I had him pick some of this stuff up at Target. I've never used it before, but I figured, "Hey what could it hurt?" His body acne is gone, 100%. Sometimes he may occassionally get a breakout during the summer months, but most of the time there is nothing. Seriously this stuff worked perfect for him!

  • Nad's Natural Natural Hair Removal Gel Facial Wand

After years of using Nair wax strips, I decided to give this a try, hoping that it would give me better control. Honestly, I love it. I like being able to do my own eyebrows and not accidentally rip out half of my brows. The only thing that kept me from rating this higher is the application. The packaging acts as though the consumer can simply just apply the gel straight from the tube...yeah that doesn't work too well. I found out that the best way to apply this is to use a toothpick. It is extremely stiff and sticky, but that's how it needs to be to remove hair. Once I kind of figured it out, I have loved it.

  • L'Oreal Paris True Match Naturale Mascara Mineral-Enriched Mascara

I've been nothing but impressed by L'oreal products. I was using Voluminous mascara for about a year and decided to give this a try. I wanted something that wasn't waterproof and was wanting something that wouldn't irritate my eyes. Maybe I had too high of hopes, but this stuff just didn't do it for me. I have to be very careful when applying it so I don't end up with clumpy lashes. It also tends to flake really bad. Its not horrible, but for about the same price I can get the Voluminous mascara that has been nothing but a winner every time.

  • Blistex Lip Infusion Moisture Splash

    Blistex Lip Infusion Moisture Splash

Depends on what you want it to do

If you buy this as some sort of miracle lip repair, you aren't getting it. It lightly moisturizes and doesn't supply the "deep hydration" promised on the package. However, I honestly love the stuff. Yes I have to apply it constantly, but there isn't a single lip product I've found that I like 100%. It is more of a gloss than a blam. It provides my lips with the shine of the more expensive brands without feeling sticky or waxy. If I put it over another balm it creates a nice shine over my lips. Its not the best stuff, but for around $2, it isn't horrible.

    Certain Dri Regular Roll-On

    Seriously works

A great testament as to how well this stuff works. When I was in HS I was in marching band. The first time I tried this stuff was before a competition. It was 90 degrees outside and I was in one of those heavy marching band uniforms. After performing and taking off my uniform I was soaked...except for under my armpits. It was like some weird reverse pit stain. However, like most deodorants with me, it quit working after about a week. I will still go back to it every once in awhile.
