Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil

I can't wait to put this on in the morning!

I've never been a big fan of applying eyeliner. Every pencil I tried (and believe me, I've tried many) lead me to despising the task even more. Eventually, I started using shadows as eyeliners so I could control the line easier, but the only problem I faced was being eyeliner-less at the end of the day because the shadows didn't have the staying power I desired. Then my best friend introduced me to these fabulous little pencils and my eyeliner woes started to fade! You can control the thickness of the line just by sharpening the pencil a little bit and, as its name suggests, it glides on smoothly and almost effortlessly. Its staying power is incredible and only comes off when I wash it off at night (if you neglect this step, as my best friend often does, you will wake up with the ability to "touch-up and go" because this liner will most definitely be in the same place in the a.m.!) With the wide array of color choices, there's bound to be one (or many) you'll love. My fav. is Bourbon- a medium brown with a bit of sparkle.

Secret Clinical Strength Smooth Solid Deodorant

Good enough for me to leave hubby's deodorant alone!

Yes, it's true, I used to use my husband's Old Spice deodorant!! It does smell nice (on him, not me!) but I had tried so many other women's deodorant and could never find one that really kept me dry and odor-free. But then Secret came out with the Clinical Strength and I was hooked. When I did use women's deodorant, I typically stuck with Secret (I even tried the fruit-scented ones). The bottle does seem a bit smaller, but I don't find myself reapplying half way through the day as I did with other deodorants, so the size doesn't bother me. Plus, the smaller size is easier to travel with! AS with all my new deodorant purchases, I smell them before I buy them and I'm glad I did with this one! I've only seen two scents at my stores, but the light and fresh is my favorite. It really is light and fresh and not over-whelming in the least. Again, the higher price tag may lead you to try a less-worthy alternative which, like me, will send you straight back to hubby's Old Spice, but at least give this one a shot and I think you'll be glad you did!

Kiehl's Supremely Gentle Eye Makeup Remover

Great, Even for Sensitive Eyes

I tried this makeup remover after reading about it in a magazine. I am extremely cautious with all products I put on or near my eyes, and this one was no different. I have allergies that cause my eyes to itch and water, so anything that goes near them has to be gentle. I have purchased supposed eye creams in the past that made my eyes water and sting beyond belief, but I have to say this makeup remover surprised me. It's fragrance-free and removes every last bit of eye makeup without much rubbing. The bottle says to squirt some product on a cotton ball and rub gently, but my laziness led me to squirting a little on my fingers and gently rubbing my eyes, and then washing my face immediately. (I even keep a bottle in the shower for this purpose!) The only reason I gave it 9 stars is because it's consistency is similar to a very runny lotion and, if you're not careful, you can squirt too much. When you are running low, there is no need to stand the bottle on its head to get every last drop (as you may be tempted to do once you try this makeup remover so you don't waste any last bit). The price may seem a little high, but if you are concerned about irritation, I feel there is no better product for the job.
