I'm not sure if this counts but using toothpaste on a blemish really does minimize it. My grandmother was right!
Remember to wash and moisturize your face every night before bed!
During the summer, I like to use hair masks, to keep my hair from drying out from to omuch sun.
moisturizer with spf plus mineral foundation
I use a white pencil eyeliner as a base when I highlight my inner corners and on the lid when I want to make my eye shadow appear brighter and more pigmented.
One of my favorite makeup tips is to make your eyeliner line a bit thicker at the outer corner of your lashes. I have really small, hooded eyelids and have a really hard time doing the "flick" to make a cat-eye look, but just making the line thicker for the outer end of my lash line (about the outer 1/3) really helps my eyes pop. :-)
Always use good, clean applicators and brushes. Dirty brushes contaminate clean makeup and cause breakouts.
Here are some tricks I do. Supplies: Mascara, transluscent powder
1.Curl your eyelash. Hold the curler in between your lashes and hold for 15 seconds. Release.
2. Using your mascara, coat your top lashes twice.
3. Using your eyeshadow brush, dip it in your transluscent powder. Tap off excess and lightly dab over your top lash.
Use vasline to remove make-up. I find it more efficienct than traditional removers. :D
a great solution i have found is to use a clear lip liner to hold the colored gloss in place, you shouldn't have to wear matte just because you turn 40!
