I would say getting older means taking on the world and what it has to offer. Not having those childhood fears keeping you down!! Falling in love, getting married. Getting older means watching your children grow up, staying up late till they get home from their first date. Seeing your daughter walk down the aisle on her wedding day. Having Grandkids and being the grandma that spoils them rotten with giving them sugar, just before they go home to their parents.... Getting older does have its Perks
I would have to say my favorite part of getting older is watching my 3 girls grow into mature young ladies. And just understanding things better.
My favorite part about getting older is learnign to slow down and accept my mistakes. Learning to look to the future and not the past.
I have always enjoyed clothing trends, but as I get older my priority is comfort. The same goes for hairstyles. It doesn't matter how up to date a hairstyle is if it doesn't flatter you. There are women who will have the most "now" hair do, and it looks awful on them. What good is a trend if it makes you look worse?
Dress for your own comfort and fit and you will look better than wearing an inapropriate trend.
My favorite part about getting older is learning more about my personality and tastes. I feel more comfortable in my own skin and more confident because I have learned that the grass is not always greener on the other side.
Favorite thing about getting older...looking back and seeing how much I change and mature as the years go on
My favorite part about getting older has been watching my children grow up into beautiful young adults and gaining the wisdom I wish I had when I was their ages. Beauty will always come with age.
Not worrying about what other people think of me...well, at least, not as much!
My fav. part is credited to those people who are totally shocked when I tell them I'm stressing about turning 40 this year.....and they say no way, I would never have guessed that...I'm so sure they wouldn't lie!!!
